Casablanca
- We'll begin our adventure from your preferred location in Casablanca, whether it's the hotel, port, or airport.
Our first destination is the iconic Hassan II Mosque, a true masterpiece of Moorish architecture. Marvel at the stunning craftsmanship and intricate details of one of the largest mosques in the world. The mosque's minaret, towering at 210 meters, offers a striking view of the Atlantic Ocean.
After a brief 10-minute drive, we'll arrive at Corniche Ain Diab. This picturesque seaside promenade is perfect for a leisurely stroll, offering beautiful views of the ocean and a glimpse into Casablanca's vibrant beach culture.
A 15-minute drive will bring us to the bustling Mohamed V and United Nations Squares, the cultural crossroads of Casablanca. These squares are surrounded by important buildings and are often buzzing with activity, providing a perfect spot for people-watching and soaking in the city's energy.
Continuing on foot, we'll explore Casablanca's distinctive art deco architecture, which showcases the city's blend of traditional Moroccan and modern French influences. We'll pause at the vibrant Central Market, where you can browse through a variety of local goods, including fresh produce, spices, and handmade crafts.
Resuming our tour with a 20-minute drive, our next stop is the enchanting Habous Quarter. Known for its traditional Moroccan architecture and charming souks, this area offers a delightful mix of old-world charm and cultural heritage. Here, you can shop for unique souvenirs and enjoy the quaint ambiance.
Our exploration continues as we embark on a 1-hour drive to Rabat, Morocco's capital city.
Upon arrival in Rabat, our first stop is the Royal Palace. Although not open to the public, the exterior and surrounding gardens are a sight to behold, showcasing regal splendor and architectural elegance.
A short 10-minute drive will take us to the historic Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of King Mohammed V. The Hassan Tower, an unfinished minaret of an incomplete mosque, stands as a testament to the city's rich history. Adjacent to it, the Mausoleum is the final resting place of King Mohammed V and his sons, adorned with exquisite traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.
Our last site to visit in Rabat is the Kasbah of the Udayas. This ancient fortress, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, offers stunning views and a glimpse into Rabat's storied past. Wander through its narrow streets, lined with blue and white houses, and enjoy the serene Andalusian gardens within the kasbah.
After a day filled with exploration and cultural immersion, we'll head back to Casablanca.
