Atlas Mountains Tour from Marrakesh
Enjoy the view of the majestic High Atlas Mountains and visit the oldest Berber village in the Tahanout area. Ride to Asni, and enjoy the beautiful view of the summit of Oukaimden. Explore Imlil village and walk through the Berber villages to discover their culture and lifestyle.

Pickup from Riad or the hotel in Marrakech at around 09:00 am.
Meet the guide in Marrakech, and drive south-east towards the majestic Atlas Mountains.
Stop to take a picture of the oldest Berber village in the Tahanout area, and visit the Berber woman cooperative.
Stop at Asni to picture the summit of Oukaimden before reaching Imlil.
Reach Imlil village, and start the walk going through the Berber villages to discover their culture.
Visit a waterfall in the middle of nowhere. The walk will be gentle, and the views are awesome.
Lunch will be cooked by our family in my traditional home.
Return to Marrakesh by 5:00 pm.

“Amazigh villages among the Atlas Mountains”
Mohamed I. was an excellent guide. He understood what our interests were via our messaging of each other. He and his excellent driver (also Mohamed) gave us a great tour of the valleys. His English was excellent and the information he provided during the trip was what we were looking for. Being in our 70's he understood how far to push the physical part of the trip to ensure enjoyment without overdoing it. Kudos to the Mohameds!
