Make it to the Petit Socco, a square considered as the heart of the Medina, with its legendary cafés.
Bazaars and workshops of the old Medina
Visit several shops and workshops to discover the Moroccan crafts. If you like an item, then you can ask about the price and use your bargaining skills.
Grand Socco & food market
It's time to visit the food market and discover the local foods and products, including olives, spices, oils...
A stop for snacks and Moroccan mint tea
When you're done with shopping, let's have a stop in a nearby café or bakery to taste Moroccan salters and cookies and sip some mint tea.

If your hotel is located away from the medina, then I can arrange for you a transfer with a private air conditioned minivan.

“Perfect day in the market! ”
We had such a great time with Rababe! She was punctual, professional and friendly and gave us lots of information about the market and Moroccan culture and history. She was very patient with us as we took numerous photos, asked questions and entered multiple shops. We would not have had the same experience without her, she absolutely enhanced our day. Cultural day tour of Tangier
This cultural tour is a combination of sightseeing and walking. Start with a drive along Tangier's International districts before heading to Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules passing through California zone where the Royal palace is located. The second part would be a walking tour of the Kasbah, a fortification dating from the 15th century, and its museum which served as a Royal palace since the 17th century. Visit the vibrant Medina, its monuments, and its souks including the food market.

This is an off the beaten path experience that will allow you discover the local culture, and most of all the gastronomy of the area. This tour enables you to walk in the vibrant old Medina, its main historical districts and its food market. Along the way, we will taste different typical Moroccan food, and have a main stop for a traditional lunch.

Market Tour and Cooking Class in Tangier
On this tour, you will learn so much about the Moroccan gastronomy. Start with a tour of the market and discover the local foods (veggies, fruits, fish, spices...). We will then make it to a local's family house. After an introduction about the Moroccan cuisine, start preparing a typical Moroccan dish (chicken, fish, beef or vegetarian Tagine), in addition to two salads. As a part of this experience, you will also learn how to prepare mint tea that you will enjoy with Moroccan cookies.
