Interior Visit to this Palace: Built during the last decades of the 19th century, this monument is a masterpiece designed by the renowned Portuguese architect José Luiz Monteiro and decorated by the finest artists of the time. The richness of stylistic influences results in a set of great historical and artistic importance, perfectly integrated into the romantic spirit of the surrounding landscape. Palácio Biester is surrounded by the majestic Biester Park, a true Eden of rare and lush tree species.
Quinta da Regaleira
Interior Visit to this Palace: One of the cradles of romantic architecture in Europe, Quinta da Regaleira is an example of the revivalist romantic style, incorporating Gothic, Manueline, medieval, classical, and Renaissance elements. Moreover, it is rich in esoteric symbolism, making it one of the most mysterious and mystical places in Sintra.
Pisões Fountain
Pisões Fountain, with its striking yellow color and unique design, once provided water for farm animals. Despite the dry water source today, it remains an intriguing monument.
Bust Carlos França
This bust honors Carlos França, a pioneering Portuguese doctor known for his work in meningitis treatment. Born in 1877, he led the Hygiene and Bacteriology department in France during World War I and lived in Colares until his death in 1926.
Lawrence Hotel (exterior)
Lawrence’s Hotel, the Iberian Peninsula's oldest, welcomed luminaries like Lord Byron and Eça de Queiroz. Its 16 rooms, each named, not numbered, carry rich histories.
Ferreira de Castro Museum (exterior)
Within this museum, rare editions, manuscripts, personal belongings, and original illustrations for his works can be admired, among other items intimately connected of Ferreira de Castro.
St. Martin Church
From Romanesque origins in the 12th century, this structure underwent a Gothic makeover during King Dinis' reign in the 13th century. Margarida Fernandes' epitaph (1334) attests to this transformation. Despite facing damage in the 1755 earthquake, it emerged anew, showcasing its enchanting 18th-century character.
Sintra National Palace
Exterior visit to this Palace: Unique for spanning the entire history of Portugal, this palace has Arabic origins and has been the residence of the Portuguese royal family since the 12th century. With a set of buildings constructed, added, and adapted over the centuries, the founding date of the oldest part of the palace remains an unresolved mystery to this day.

“Excelente tour personalizado”
Raquel nos brindó un excelente tour, adaptado a las necesidades de toda mi familia.
