I was born and raised in Aomori, which is why I have strong connections with local farmers, families, and community members. Before returning home, I spent 8 years in Tokyo serving in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, where I was involved in welcoming VIP guests including state guests and world leaders. Because I have experienced both Tokyo and rural Japan deeply, I strongly appreciate the warmth of local communities and the richness of life lived alongside the seasons.
