The hiking trails were muddy due to some early snowfall, and the weather was chilly, but we still had a fantastic day exploring Aomori together! My personal highlight was singing a Carpenters song at the steak restaurant! I also loved our conversations during the drives and the unexpected discovery of a pin from your hometown at the secondhand shop. It was heartwarming to see how close you all are as a family, especially as siblings. I must admit, I felt a little envious of your wonderful family bond! Exploring the peaceful grounds of Takayama Inari Shrine and walking across the wooden bridge were lovely experiences. I especially enjoyed our conversations in the car, it was such a pleasure to talk and laugh together about so many things. Thank you so much for your lovely review! I loved how you embraced the day as if you were locals enjoying an ordinary weekend in Aomori. I had such a wonderful time with you, and it was a pleasure hearing about your hometown, your work, and your lives. From making Tsugaru lacquerware spoons to trying local favorites like Natto-hanpen-fried tofu, Sujiko, and Kirikomi, not to mention Tsuyu yakisoba in Kuroishi, we shared so many little tastes of everyday life here. Exploring Niji-no-Mart, our local kitchen, and the Hirosaki Museum of Contemporary Art together was another highlight. Our conversations were just as memorable. Your thoughtful observations and curiosity made the day especially enjoyable for me.
