I'm a professional tour guide since 2000 and I'm very committed and focused on sharing my home region's richness in natural, historical and cultural beauty with people approaching Sicily. This is a land where we care about the others and our lifestyle is easy and relaxed. In showing people around I always try to mix descriptions of the Sicilian cultural heritage with detailed insights on what being Sicilians means.

Hello! Welcome to my page and hopefully soon, New York! I am a born and bred NY Native, having grown up in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. The city, its people, food, neighborhoods, rich diverse history, cutting edge innovation, storied nightlife and world-renowned cultural treasures were my playground and classroom; and I am so grateful to have had this teacher. After University, I lived for three years in London and Paris - and then returned to my home town where I have been enjoying my work in Tourism and Hospitality ever since. I’ve been a professional guide for many years working for companies like Tui, Globus and Disney. I have lead groups, both large and small, that include students, adults, business professionals, and retirees from the U.S. and abroad. I love taking guests around my beautiful city, and re-discovering its majesty and wonder with visitors - this is truly a privilege. I excel at private tours and in sharing the magical experiences that can only be found in this dynamic and daunting city. Together, we will unlock it's secrets and discover why NYC, the star of so many memorable movies and novels, is such a beloved, romantic and exciting city. What do I do in my spare time? I write, act, garden and hike. I teach kids financial literacy in an after school enrichment program. I walk my wonderful dog in Brooklyn Bridge Park and I take advantage of the world-class museums and restaurants this great city has to offer. If you wish, I would be happy to work together and plan your perfect itinerary with a customized experience - or you may choose from one or more of my predesignated tour options. Hello. My name is Eiichi and my nick name is Eddy. So, please call me Eddy because Eiichi is difficult for visitors to pronounce. I am a licensed guide interpreter certified by Japanese government. I was born and live in Chiba prefecture, which is next to Tokyo and I have worked in Tokyo for more than 20 years. So, I know Chiba and Tokyo very well. My hobby is ceramic art, golf, and Zen meditation, and I like traveling and reading history books. Based on these experience and knowledge, I will introduce Japanese culture and history. I used to work as an engineer for one of major electronic manufacturers which exports communication systems and components to overseas. Through the job, I visited many countries including New Zealand where I fortunately stayed for four years with my family. I have found it fun to communicate with people in other countries. So, after my recent retirement, I started to work as a licensed guide interpreter. I’m looking forward to meeting visitors who are interested in Japanese beautiful nature, unique culture, variety of foods or history.

Hi, I'm Akari! Your local guide for Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokohama. Before settling down in beautiful, historical Kamakura, I lived in Tokyo and Yokohama for over 10 years, giving me a deep understanding of both big-city energy and coastal charm—nestled between the ocean and mountains, which I love the most! As I used to teach Japanese, I love bridging cultural gaps and sharing the "Why" behind our customs and traditions. For me, guiding isn't just about hitting the famous sightseeing spots—it's about giving you those "Aha!" moments through our rich history and customs. As a local, I'm obsessed with exploring hidden gems outside the capital. Whether it's a quiet bamboo forest in Kamakura, a stunning sunset spot in Enoshima, or a cozy local cafe and eatery, I can't wait to share my favorite places with you. What I offer: ・Fully customized private tours tailored to your pace, interests, and curiosity. Feel free to send a message. Let’s make your Japan trip unforgettable. See you soon!

Aoi K.
Hello, I’m Aoi. Please call me “Aoi.” I was born and raised in Tokushima, and I’m excited to share the charm of this beautiful region. Centered around Tokushima City, I’ll introduce you to its history, culture, nature, and cuisine. When people think of Tokushima, they often think of the Awa Odori. Held every August, it is one of Japan’s largest dance festivals, with a history of over 400 years. With the famous chant, “The dancers are fools, and the watchers are fools. Both are fools alike, so why not dance?”, the whole city comes alive with energy. You can also see some of the world’s largest whirlpools in the Naruto Strait. From the walkway on the Great Naruto Bridge, you can enjoy spectacular views and experience the power of nature up close. Tokushima is also famous for indigo dyeing. During the Edo period, Awa Indigo spread across Japan and supported the region’s growth. In an indigo dyeing workshop, you can create your own unique item while experiencing traditional Japanese culture. For nature lovers, hiking on Mt. Bizan or Mt. Tsurugi is highly recommended. Mt. Bizan offers panoramic views of Tokushima City and the sea, while Mt. Tsurugi showcases Shikoku’s magnificent mountain scenery. Each season brings a different landscape to enjoy. If you visit Tokushima, I would be delighted to guide you. You can enjoy Tokushima’s nature, history, and food culture, including fresh seafood, Awa-O-Dori chicken, Tokushima ramen, and dishes made with sudachi citrus. The night view from Mt. Bizan is also one of Tokushima’s most iconic sights, loved by both visitors and locals. I look forward to sharing the charm of Tokushima with you.

Since the beginning of the year 2023, I have given tours to roughly 900 groups,2700 tourists from overseas, I enjoy giving the tour at the two world cultural heritage sites in Hiroshima, the Miyajima Island with the magnificent shrine built over the sea, and the Atomic Bomb Dome in the Peace Memorial Park. United States of America (USA)
Luke P.
I am a tour guide, historian, and conservationist in Washington D.C. I have been fascinated by American history and biography for my entire adult life. As a guide, I weave together stories of the American experience, how it shapes who we are today, and what it means for our own civic duties as Americans. I've been a licensed guide for seven years. I give walking tours around the National Mall and Tidal Basin, the White House area, Capitol Hill, DuPont Circle, Arlington National Cemetery, and Georgetown. My favorite ones are the Cherry Peak Bloom Tour on the Tidal Basin, the Presidents and Cabinets Tour around the White House, and the Lives of the Roosevelts Tour in DuPont Circle. I do hybrid walking/driving tours for those interested in seeing multiple areas of DC in a single day. Additionally, I do conservation-focused tours in rich and under-appreciated natural areas around DC like Rock Creek Park and Theodore Roosevelt Island. I have done many tours for family and friend groups, as well as corporate and nonprofit groups. My specialty is young professional and student groups, especially those in programs oriented toward public service. I manage the historical site tours program for Journey Through Hallowed Ground National Heritage Area. Beyond guiding, I have spent many years in DC working for nonprofits doing civil discourse and civic work, and advocacy groups and think tanks in various areas of public policy. I am a political writer, and have facilitated many workshops, panels, podcasts, and debates on subjects ranging from policy to history to political ethics. I portray Alexander Hamilton as a historical reenactor, and do outdoor guiding work. I host a conservation podcast called "Match My Mountains." Beyond DC, I volunteer at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. I studied International Relations at the University of Southern California, where I performed for several years in the Trojan Marching Band.

Christopher L.
Hi there, my name is Chris, and I bring over 30 years of cycling experience to every tour I lead. My background spans coaching riders of all levels, owning and operating a bicycle shop, and working extensively as a professional bicycle mechanic. I have years of hands-on experience that means I understand not only how to ride, but how to keep riders safe, comfortable, and confident on the road. For the past 21 years, I’ve called this area my home. During that time, I’ve explored its roads, coastlines, vineyards, and hidden back routes countless times on my own bike, simply because I love riding here. As a licensed travel guide, I’ve combined that personal passion with professional training to create thoughtfully designed tours that showcase the very best of this remarkable region. I also maintain strong relationships with local wineries, restaurants, and accommodations, which allows me to offer guests unique, welcoming, and well-curated experiences beyond the ride itself. Whether it’s a quiet tasting room, a memorable meal, or a comfortable place to rest after a day in the saddle, I can help connect you with some of the finest the Central Coast has to offer. This isn’t just a place where I work—it’s my home. Every route I share is one I’ve ridden, refined, and truly enjoyed. My goal is simple: to give you an authentic, unforgettable cycling experience that blends great riding, local flavor, and the natural beauty of the Central Coast. I look forward to sharing the roads I love with you. -Chris

China
Cade J.
Hi, I’m Cade, a local guide based in Chengdu. If you’re planning a trip to China and feel a bit confused about how things work here - don’t worry, that’s exactly where I come in. I help travelers explore Chengdu (and beyond) in a simple and relaxed way. No complicated plans, no rushing around - just a smooth trip where everything actually works. - Want to see the pandas without wasting half your day in queues? - Need help figuring out trains, tickets, or how to get around? - Or just prefer having someone local to make things easier? That’s basically what I do. Most of my guests are not looking for a “tour guide with a flag”, but someone who can: - plan your route properly and make the most of your time - help you avoid common travel problems and tourist traps - stay away from overly crowded tourist spots when possible - experience the real local culture, not just the surface - keep everything transparent with no hidden costs - make the whole trip feel easy and smooth I’m flexible with plans, so whether you already have an idea or have no clue where to start, we can figure it out together. Just send me a message and tell me what you’re thinking.

Spain
Piero C.
100% "gato" at heart and rabidly passionate about Madrid and Spain. I started my tour “PIERO’S FAMOUS TOUR” in 2017 as a way to introduce my city to the many friends who kept visiting from abroad. Always praised as: "very good fun", "immersive", "diverse", "dynamic", and "extraordinarily off the beaten tourist path" — I kept nurturing it each time with more information and experiences. Unaware of my own hidden potential, I watched word spread — and with it, I found myself increasingly possessed by the "duende" of my country and its culture. An immersive, one-of-a-kind journey through Madrid and Spain's history, culture, and traditions — engaging all your senses: taste, sight, smell, touch... a full blown experience. I've also extended into an exclusive Tapas Tour, diving deep into the gastronomic soul of Spain through its most iconic and beloved bites. Join me! MY VALUES Politically incorrect (in the best possible way). I stick to history, using plain words, direct messages, and — of course — a lot of humour. ¡Viva España!

Fumina O.
Hello! I am Fumina, and I am a Prefectural Guide Interpreter in Toyama. I love exploring hidden places, traditional streets, local cafes, and unique spots that many tourists never discover on their own. Besides famous attractions, I can also introduce charming neighborhoods, beautiful scenery, local sweets, matcha experiences, and places that reflect everyday life in Toyama. My interest in guiding started when I was in high school. I had an opportunity to introduce Japanese culture in English as part of a class project, and I truly enjoyed sharing Japan with people from different backgrounds. That experience inspired me to become a guide and help visitors discover the charm of Japan for themselves. As a local woman, I enjoy sharing Toyama from a different perspective, including photogenic locations, cozy cafes, seasonal scenery, and cultural experiences that are especially popular with travelers looking for something more personal and authentic. I believe every traveler is different, so I always try to create a flexible and comfortable experience based on your interests, pace, and travel style. Whether you would like to visit major attractions or discover hidden gems known mainly to locals, I would be happy to help you create memorable experiences in Toyama. My tours are especially suitable for travelers who: • Prefer a relaxed and flexible experience rather than a fixed schedule • Want to discover places that are not usually found in guidebooks • Enjoy local cafes, Japanese sweets, matcha, and everyday culture • Love photography and beautiful scenery • Are interested in experiencing Toyama from a local perspective • Prefer traveling at their own pace and having a friendly local guide --- Qualification ・Toyama Prefecture Regional Guide Interpreter ・TOEIC(Listening & Reading) 915 ・TOEIC(Speaking & Writing) 130/180 ・EIKEN(The EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency) 1st grade ・REKIKEN(the Japanese History Exam) 2nd grade

Professional English-Speaking Guide in Kansai | Osaka, Kyoto, Wakayama & Kobe Tours "I don't just show you sights; I translate the soul of Japan." Hey! I'm Muhammad W, a history lover and a guide to travel around Osaka to explore Japan. As Japan is enriched in culture so let's turn every single stone and reading the radicals. As an English Literature and Linguistics scholar living in Osaka, Japan, I offer more than just a tour—I offer a narrative. While many see a place as a quiet neighbor to Osaka, I see it as the birthplace of the Samurai blade, the cradle of the Tea Ceremony, and home to the world’s most mysterious ancient tombs. Why explore with me? Academic Insight: With a Master’s degree in linguistics, I bridge the cultural gap, explaining the "why" behind Japanese traditions. Halal Expert: As a local Muslim resident, I take the stress out of dining. I’ll show you the best Halal Wagyu, Ramen, and hidden gems in the Kansai region. Sakai Specialist: From the 1,600-year-old Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun to master blacksmith workshops, I’ll lead you through the "Real Japan" away from the crowds. Let’s turn your visit into a story worth telling.
