Hello there! I am hoping you're having a great day!! My name is Jose, born and raised in Spain (Barcelona) and I have been living in Japan for the last 10 years, first it was Hiroshima that I called home, for the past few years it has been Kyoto. I have a wide knowledge of japanese culture, it's social life and it's manners, as well as the most impressive monuments, streets, parks and temples. I love the city of Kyoto and all of the wonders it has to offer to the people whom decide to visit it, from the Fushimi Inari temple to the Nijo Castle. It is a surprising city with combines the best of modern day activities with the reminiscence of old Japan. I would like to share my experience in Japan with you, so you have the greatest experience possible.

¡Hola!

Hello, my name is Nicolas. I’m originally from Argentina and have been living in Japan for the past eight years, proudly calling Osaka my home. Being married to a Japanese wife has given me a strong personal connection to the culture and a deeper understanding of everyday life here, far beyond what most visitors get to see. Tourism has always been my passion and profession, and I have spent these years working in the tour industry, helping travelers discover Japan in a meaningful and enjoyable way. I love sharing not only the famous landmarks, but also the small details, stories, and local experiences that make this country so special. My goal is to make every tour feel relaxed, authentic, and memorable—like exploring Japan with a knowledgeable friend who truly loves living here. I look forward to welcoming you and showing you this amazing place I now call home.

My name is Jeronimo (Jeroen). I'm Mexican and European. I studied economics with a specialization in International Management at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. I have always been fascinated by Latin America. After my studies I worked as a consultant, entrepreneur and commercial director in Belgium, Brazil, The Netherlands, Guatemala, and Argentina. I have been active in humanitarian aid in Third World countries worldwide. I have travelled extensively to Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America. I have worked as a tour conductor in France, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and Indonesia. Mexico is where I decided to stay twenty years ago. I started off with groups of 20 people with trips of 28 days from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and back to Mexico. After this I switched to trips of 21 days visiting the same countries. After having visited each archaeological site over 60 times, each time with another local guide, I decided to study Mexican History and Archaeology, inspired by some of the local guides who told the tourists that the Mayas landed from Mars in spaceships. I am specialized in Maya culture. Working with people and showing them different cultures is what fascinates me. In 2004, I started off with the big tour companies like TUI and Thomas Cook, who commercialized the trips from 28 days and reduced it to 12 days. I did that for 10 years, after which I went on as a private tour guide/driver for small groups. I offer private day tours and multi day tours to all archaeological sites and nature parks transportation included in English, French, German, Dutch, and Spanish.

Ciao everybody! My name is Veronica and I'm from Florence. I've been a tour guide since 2008 and the goal of my tours is to offer you not only an artistic and historical overview of Florence, but an immersive visit into the typical aspects of the Italian life and culture. I used to live and work abroad: first as a student at UEA (University of East Anglia) in Norwich (UK), then as an apprentice in contemporary art galleries in Sevilla (Spain) and finally as a teacher of Italian and History of Art at Marist College in Poughkeepsie (New York). I have also worked as a Tour Leader around the world: USA, Africa, Russia and Europe. In short, I love travelling and whenever possible I leave my hometown to explore different countries and cultures. I'm an art historian. I love art as I think artworks tell stories and through those stories we can understand history. I'll show you the monuments of Florence not just in terms of style and beauty, but disclosing the social and historical context in which they were conceived and unveil the tales they hide. As a local, I'll also take you to my favorite destinnations and to some of the artisan workshops who make Florence unique. Another passion of mine is wine. That's why I've become a certified sommelier. I believe that wine represents a very crucial part of Italian traditions. Behind a glass of wine you can discover history, nature, landscapes and lives of people. If you share my passion, I will be more than happy to arrange for you a wine tasting in Florence! Recently I've been trained in accessible tourism for visually and mobility impaired people. So, let me know if you have specific needs. We can design together a trip that fits you. Btw, all my tours are customizable according to your requests and interests. I hope to see you soon in Florence!

The Best Way to Feel Barcelona. With 19 years of experience as a professional tour guide and a lifelong passion for exploring the world, I’ve learned that the most memorable journeys are never about simply seeing a destination—they’re about truly feeling it. Originally from Colombia, I began my career as a tour guide in Paris, where I also trained new guides for an international tourism company. I hold a Master’s degree in French Literature from La Sorbonne University and a degree in Languages and Socio-Cultural Studies. Years later, I followed my heart to Barcelona, the city I now proudly call home. Today, I specialize in creating thoughtfully curated private experiences tailored to each traveler. As a passionate traveler myself, I understand what discerning travelers truly value: authenticity, flexibility, meaningful connections, and experiences that feel personal rather than scripted. Whether you’re passionate about history, architecture, gastronomy, art, or simply want to experience Barcelona beyond the typical tourist attractions, every itinerary is designed around your interests, pace, and travel style. My goal is simple: I don’t want you to feel like you’re following a tour guide. I want you to feel like you’re spending the day with a knowledgeable local friend who is genuinely excited to share the city’s hidden corners, fascinating stories, favorite restaurants, and authentic culture. I believe the greatest luxury is having an experience designed exclusively for you. That’s why every tour is completely personalized, allowing you to discover Barcelona at your own pace while creating unforgettable memories that will stay with you long after your journey ends. By the end of our time together, I hope you won’t just have seen Barcelona—I hope you’ll have truly felt it.

My name is Ricardo and I was born and raised in Porto City. Although tourism changed Porto for the best (in my opinion) for the last 5 years, me and my family had to move out from Porto, into the bush, housing and living costs became very high and we made the choice that we should move out to the countryside. In this last year 2020 and even this year 2021 with pandemic work just fell down drastically and we had to adapt. Making Port Wine, Muscat wine and sometimes olive oil in a amatuer way since 2014, this hobbie become my family income. With vineyards and olives fields almost abandoned from the pandemic I rolled up my sleeves and went to work, asking neighbours and friends if I could keep their grapes and olives for harvest time, their answers were immediately YES Dividing my life between Porto and Douro Valley, me and my family feel completely safe, happy and relaxed with this new way of living your life. Come and see my amazing town Porto and Douro Valley Wine Region from the eyes of a local !!! Hope to see you soon. Cheers !!! Ricardo
