I am a young historian who has been working as a tour guide for 4 years. During this time I have met people from all over the world, which has taught me a lot about interacting with all kinds of people as well as showing my city in an authentic and interesting way. I like to take people to places that show another side of Mexico City, a closer perspective of how its inhabitants live day to day. I also enjoy taking photographs on my tours.

Mexico City is one of the most populous but also most interesting cities in the world. It is a place full of attractions for all kinds of people, however, its extension makes it impossible for it to be explored in a short time. On this tour we offer you the possibility to explore in the way you prefer, visiting the places that interest you the most and skipping the ones that do not. For five hours, you can have a unique experience completely personalized and private!
Painting history. Mexican murals tour
On this tour you will learn about the history of Mexico, through the contemplation of the massive murals that adorn the corridors and halls of various buildings located in the Historic Center of Mexico City. With the guidance of a historian, you will decipher the secrets of this wonderful art aimed at the people of Mexico. You can select PLAN A or PLAN B, but it is also fine to make arrangement with the mix of two plans (by choosing 2 or 3 spots below.)
Luis Barragán Tour and hidden gems of Mexico City
This tour is ideal for those lovers of history and architecture who want to explore a little known part of Mexico City. On this half-day tour, we will visit a wide variety of places, whose architecture is a living testimony of the history of Mexico. “Wonderful two tours with Oskar!”
My husband and I and a close friend booked two tours with Oskar during our trip to CDMX. He showed us the famous murals in the Centro one day and designed a customized day for us a second day, during which we visited Casa Pedegro and Tlapan. Both days were spectacular! Oskar is extremely knowledgeable about Mexican history and art and shared what he knew with us enthusiastically. He was a pleasure to spend time with, too. He is kind, courteous, and funny. He’s a gem! We look forward to seeing him again on our next trip to CDMX.

My name is Miroslava. I'm a native of Xochimilco and a proud winner of the most meaningful beauty contest in CDMX 'La flor más bella del ejido' 2006. Because of this, I became a cultural ambassador and guardian of my culture and community. I learned embroidery from my grandma when I was 12 years old, and later on, I continued learning from handcrafter friends from different communities around Mexico. I've been teaching and holding workshops on embroidery since 2010. In 2012, I launched a brand/workshop called "TRAMA", which now, after 13 years of experience and building a community of handcrafters, offers not only artisanal products and workshops but also unique experiences to visit and live Xochimilco's culture and nature.
