About Tour Guide Jose david V.
Hello there! I am hoping you're having a great day!!
My name is Jose, born and raised in Spain (Barcelona) and I have been living in Japan for the last 10 years, first it was Hiroshima that I called home, for the past few years it has been Kyoto.
I have a wide knowledge of japanese culture, it's social life and it's manners, as well as the most impressive monuments, streets, parks and temples.
I love the city of Kyoto and all of the wonders it has to offer to the people whom decide to visit it, from the Fushimi Inari temple to the Nijo Castle. It is a surprising city with combines the best of modern day activities with the reminiscence of old Japan.
I would like to share my experience in Japan with you, so you have the greatest experience possible.

“An Unforgettable Day in Osaka”
We had an amazing experience in Osaka thanks to our guide, Jose David. From the very beginning, communication with him was absolutely perfect — clear, easy, fast, and always thoughtful. He made everything effortless and allowed us to enjoy the city without worrying about logistics. Jose David took us through many different parts of Osaka and showed us places we never would have discovered on our own. He explained the history, culture, and atmosphere of each area in a way that made the city come alive. One of the highlights of the day was discovering okonomiyaki with him. Thanks to Jose David, we were able to try this classic Osaka dish in an authentic place and understand more about why it is such an important part of the local culture. It became one of our favorite memories of the trip. We also wanted to try the famous Japanese cheesecake, but when we arrived there was an incredibly long line. Jose David gave us a fantastic tip: instead of waiting, we bought the whole cake, which had just come out of the oven and was practically the exact same experience — fresh, warm, and delicious. It saved us a lot of time and became another one of those small moments that made the day so special. If you are visiting Osaka and want a guide who is knowledgeable, friendly, organized, and truly excellent at communicating, I cannot recommend Jose David highly enough. He made our time in Osaka unforgettable.

Outstanding!!! Jose is very affable, knowledgeable, flexible, and enthusiastic. Probably one of the best guides we have ever worked with, he is fluent in English, Spanish, and Japanese, and clearly has a very deep understanding of Japanese culture and customs, as well as a strong connection with the city of Kyoto. We would highly recommend him to anyone planning a trip to this fascinating, ancient city. Thanks again!

Hello, my name is Nicolas. I’m originally from Argentina and have been living in Japan for the past eight years, proudly calling Osaka my home. Being married to a Japanese wife has given me a strong personal connection to the culture and a deeper understanding of everyday life here, far beyond what most visitors get to see. Tourism has always been my passion and profession, and I have spent these years working in the tour industry, helping travelers discover Japan in a meaningful and enjoyable way. I love sharing not only the famous landmarks, but also the small details, stories, and local experiences that make this country so special. My goal is to make every tour feel relaxed, authentic, and memorable—like exploring Japan with a knowledgeable friend who truly loves living here. I look forward to welcoming you and showing you this amazing place I now call home.
