About Tour Guide Yasuko Y.

Welcome to Shizuoka in the central area of Japan.

I was born in Hakone, Kanagawa Pref. and grew up in Izu Peninsula, also studied English at Kanagawa University in Yokohama.

After graduation, I have traveled to a lot of countries such as Europe, U, S., Asia and lived in Australia for a year. I had a great time to visit there to have a wonderful experience.

So I decided to become a licensed tour guide for introducing Japan to foreign tourists.

Now I live in Izu which is close to Mt.Fuji and Hakone.

I'm interested in Arts, Hot Springs, traditional places and of course delicious food.

I would like to introduce beautiful Izu which has lots of Geopark sites and traditional Hot spring resort "Shuzenji, Nagaoka, and so on.

Please Enjoy this area together!!

Bienvenidos

Wonderful Day with Yasuko – Highly Recommended!

My family and I had a fantastic experience with Yasuko as our guide. From the moment she met us at our cruise ship, she was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. She expertly guided us through various trains and buses — including the bullet train — to reach Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha, where we enjoyed a walk through the shrine grounds. Our next stop was the World Heritage Fujisan Center, where we hoped to catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji. Though it had been hidden behind clouds all day, Yasuko worked her magic (we joke she made the clouds clear!) and just as we reached the top of the World Heritage Fujisan Center the Mountain revealed itself in all its glory. She then took us to a wonderful local restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious meal together — a real highlight. At the end of the tour, Yasuko surprised us with handmade origami of Mt. Fuji and cranes. We highly recommend Yasuko to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, kind, and dedicated guide. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Easy guide to work with.

From the first contact with Yasuko I realized she would go out of her way to make sure we had a good day. And I was correct. Everything we asked she organized and better than I imagined. Thank you so much for putting together a wonderful, different experience. George and Irene.

Irene san and George san. Thank you so much for a good review. I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed with special experiences, picking green tea leaves and making your own chopsticks. Also, you could see a view of Mt. Fuji in spite of cloudy. I appreciate your cooperation to go the tour smoothly.

Thank you so much for an good review, Heike san. I'm so happy to hear that you all enjoyed my tour. We were very lucky to see Mt.Fuji during almost whole tour. And the meal, fried noodles "Fujinomiya yakisoba " at Omiya Yokocho. I really appreciate your cooperation with the tour go smoothly.
