Welcome to Shizuoka in the central area of Japan.
I was born in Hakone, Kanagawa Pref. and grew up in Izu Peninsula, also studied English at Kanagawa University in Yokohama.
After graduation, I have traveled to a lot of countries such as Europe, U, S., Asia and lived in Australia for a year. I had a great time to visit there to have a wonderful experience.
So I decided to become a licensed tour guide for introducing Japan to foreign tourists.
Now I live in Izu which is close to Mt.Fuji and Hakone.
I'm interested in Arts, Hot Springs, traditional places and of course delicious food.
I would like to introduce beautiful Izu which has lots of Geopark sites and traditional Hot spring resort "Shuzenji, Nagaoka, and so on.
Please Enjoy this area together!!
I can guide you in Yokohama, Tokyo, and Hakone if you pay my transportation fee.
Our guide Yasuko was wonderful. She communicated timely and often leading up to our trip giving us confidence she would show up. She arrived early and was waiting for us with a perfectly planned itinerary. She said it would take 8 hours and return by 4pm. We arrived back at 4:02pm. She prepurchased all train and Shinkansen tickets which got us to private tours of a tea plantation, sake factory and wonderful authentic Japanese lunch. It couldn’t have been any better and Yasuko made our day great. Hope to see her again. Matane..
Janet san & Rick san, thank you so much for the review of my tour. Luckily, we could see the views of Mt. Fuji often. I'm really happy to hear that you two had fun visiting the Fujinomiya area. Hope to see you in the future sometime. Enjoy your stay in Japan. Thanks again.
Yasuko communicated often prior to our tour and designed a day to meet our interests. She researched our port arrival and adjusted when we arrived at a different pier than normal. The tour includes walking and trains and buses, the extent depending on your itinerary, but this was expected based on the description and we had a lovely day to explore the area. She was helpful in spending time with us in stores to explain items to us when we had some time at the train station. Yasuko is very detailed and conscientious and appreciated her customized agenda for our day.
Thank you very much for reviewing my tour, Lynne. I also really enjoyed guiding you. On tour, your cruise ship docked at an irregular pier and you would like to eat gluten-free lunch. Everything I prepared for you will be helpful to me. I hope you will be back in Japan again. Yasuko
As I am leaving Mishima, I want to dedicate a big “Thank You” to Yasuko-san. She is a knowledgeable and funny tour guide who could patiently adapt to my needs. We made a tour in Mishima, a city that is really worth a visit for its “city of passage” atmosphere. I enjoyed every minute. Time passed so fast! I am glad I did stop for a day in Mishima in company of Yasuko-san and I’ll always remember this part of my trip.
Thank you for joying my tour, I'm really happy to hear that you had fun walking in Mishima. After the cherry blossoms season, we could enjoy the atmosphere of the Genbei stream and the Mishima Taisha shrine without too many tourists. Also, you enjoyed eating the famous grilled eel dish in this city. Thank you so much for your good review. Enjoy your stay in Japan. Stefano san, see you sometime in the future.
I arrived in Shimizu by cruiseship and had some limited time at my disposal. Yasuku had prepared an itinerary for me and chartered a taxi so I could see as much as possible during my short stay. Yusoku is very professional, very knowledgable and enjoys what she is doing. I had a very pleasant stay, saw a lot and Yusuku has a great personality. She and her driver made my stay worthwhile Hannelore Govaert
Thank you so much for joining my tour of the Mt. Fuji area. I'm really happy to hear that you had a great time. It was still cherry blossoms season and could see a lot of views. Especially, Shiraito waterfalls and Tea plantations were enjoyable places I hope. Thank you so much Hannelore san again, so see in sometime in the future. Yasuko
