Whether you love history, traditional villages, dramatic landscapes, local food, walking or simply discovering places away from the crowds, I can shape the experience around you. I offer personalized experiences across Málaga, Marbella, Ojén, Mijas, Ronda, the white villages and wider Andalucía. You can book me for a few hours, a complete day or ask me to help plan a longer journey. I am especially experienced in looking after families, couples, small groups and multigenerational travelers who value flexibility and personal attention. Having led private journeys through both Scotland and southern Spain, I understand that excellent guiding involves much more than sharing information. It means adjusting when plans change, finding the right pace for every guest, helping with practical details and being someone you can depend on throughout the experience. My style is friendly, informal and attentive. There are no rehearsed speeches or rigid schedules. We can stop when something catches your attention, spend longer somewhere you love and change the plan when a better opportunity appears. I speak English and work in both English- and Spanish-speaking environments. Where specialist accredited guides, licensed transportation or advance reservations are required, I can help coordinate the appropriate trusted professionals. Hello! My name is Manu. I am master architect, master in Historical Construction Techniques and licenced guide. I studied architecture in Granada and during the degree I also worked as urban photography teacher and editor in an arts magazine. I finished in 2015 and I did an internship in Yokohama National University in Japan. After that I worked for the University of Castilla La Mancha, where I did some restorations and started working with heritage architecture. With COVID pandemic I started painting realism focused works, from domestic elements that in 2025 led me to be selected in the National Realism Museum of Almeria as one of the 24 most representative young realist painters in the country. In 2018 I started my own architecture studio and got an official guiding licence complemented with the official guiding licence of the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba I obtained in 2023. So since then I work running my own projects and collaborating with different companies while showing the Andalusian architecture , heritage, history and urbanism in the cities of Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla, Malaga and Cádiz. So if you are travelling to Andalucia it will be a pleasure to guide you around these cities!

“Perfect Day in Caminito del Rey”
This hike in the national park was the highlight of my trip to Spain! I cannot say enough great things about how well cared for we were. Our guide was Alejandro, another lover of hiking, and he was an excellent guide. We had asked to have lunch after the hike and we arrived to the restaurant with a table reserved in advance. Do not skip this tour (unless you don't like heights...) when you are in the Malaga area.
