Discover the eastern Costa del Sol on a relaxed private day through Frigiliana, Nerja and Maro. Wander the whitewashed streets of Frigiliana, enjoy coffee with a view, discover Nerja’s famous Balcón de Europa and have free time to explore at your own pace. After an optional local lunch, we’ll continue to beautiful Maro and one of its most accessible beaches. An optional visit to the spectacular Nerja Caves can also be added.

Meeting Point

- I’ll pick you up directly from your hotel or accommodation within the designated Costa del Sol pickup area. Your exact pickup time will be confirmed before the tour depending on your location. Other pickup locations can be arranged upon request.

Frigiliana

We’ll begin in beautiful Frigiliana, one of Andalucía’s most picturesque white villages. We’ll enjoy a relaxed walk through its whitewashed streets, flower-filled corners, small squares and viewpoints while discovering the character of the old town. We’ll also stop for a coffee, included in your tour, with plenty of time for photographs and to explore without rushing.

Nerja & El Balcon de Europa

From Frigiliana we’ll continue to the Mediterranean town of Nerja. I’ll take you on an introductory walk through the centre and to the famous Balcón de Europa, with spectacular views across the coastline and Mediterranean Sea. Afterwards, you’ll have around 1½ hours of free time to explore Nerja independently, browse the shops, visit the beach, enjoy a drink or simply relax by the sea.

Optional Lunch

If you’d like to experience a relaxed Spanish lunch, we can stop at one of the local restaurants I recommend. Depending on your preferences, we can choose traditional Andalusian dishes, fresh fish, tapas or something lighter. Lunch is optional and paid directly by guests.

Optional Nerja Caves

Guests who would like to add one of the area's most famous attractions can visit the spectacular Nerja Caves, an enormous underground system filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The cave visit is optional, allowing you to choose between more time exploring the coast or adding this fascinating natural attraction to your day.

Maro & the Mediterranean Coast

Our final stop takes us to the small coastal village of Maro, surrounded by dramatic cliffs, farmland and the Mediterranean. We’ll enjoy the scenery and I’ll show you one of the easiest local beaches to access, giving you a glimpse of the quieter coastline beyond Nerja before we begin our journey back.

After Maro, sit back and relax as we make our way back along the Costa del Sol to your hotel or accommodation.

*This is a private and flexible tour, so the itinerary and pace can be adapted to your interests.

*Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as Frigiliana has steep, cobbled streets, slopes and steps.

*Morning coffee in Frigiliana is included in the tour price.

*Lunch is optional and not included. Please let me know in advance about any food allergies or dietary requirements.

*The Nerja Caves visit is optional and is not included in the base tour price. *Please let me know in advance if you would like to visit so tickets and timing can be arranged.

*The cave visit involves walking, stairs and uneven surfaces and may not be suitable for guests with certain mobility difficulties.

*We will visit the Maro coastline and an easily accessible beach/viewpoint, but swimming is not a scheduled part of the tour.

*Please let me know in advance if you have reduced mobility or any other requirements so I can adapt the day where possible.

*Hotel pickup and drop-off are included within the designated pickup area. *Other locations may be possible upon request.

*The order and timing of stops may vary slightly depending on traffic, weather, opening times and your preferences.
