With this visit we will discover Italica, a roman city founded in the 3rd century B.C. whose name refers to the Italica Peninsula, land of origin of the first inhabitants of this city.
After Italica we will see San Isidoro´s monastery, a convent surrounded by walls that houses the Bible of the bear, the first bible translated into spanish under the influence of the reformist ideas that at that time came to Seville.

Introduction to Italica
Italica is the birthplace of Trajan and Hadrian, the first emperors of Hispanic origin in Rome.
So we will know the role they had in the creation of this city.
House of Birds
We will visit the House of Birds, an authentic mansion of 1.700 square meters close to the public buildings of this city.
Amphitheater
It is one of the largest amphiteaters of the Roman Empire, where the gladiator fights took place, the most important entertainment of the Romans.
The Theater (ancient city of Italica)
The theater is a building from the time of the emperor Augustus, where we will know the origin of the theatrical representations that were used by Rome to exhibit its propaganda.
Introduction to San Isidoro Monastery
Located on an ancient roman road, this moanstery owes its name to San Isidoro, a visigoth saint who was buried here before being transferred to Leon, in northern Spain.
