Seville is a city of stunning monuments and of deeply-rooted traditions. In this tour I will accompany you to discover the neighbourhood of Triana, which has given birth to famous bullfighters and to some of the most eminent figures of flamenco. We will also visit the bullring, considered the temple of bullfighting, the cathedral with its Giralda tower, the Alcazar palace, the oldest European royal palace still in use and Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter.

Torre del Oro
To reach the Triana Neighbourhood we will cross the San Telmo Bridge situated next to the beautiful Moslem Torre del Oro.
It is the seat of the confraternity of the widely worshipped Virgen de la Esperanza.
It is a typical local market with stalls selling fruit, vegetables, fish, meat and the famous "jamon iberico". It was built on the ruins of the Moslem Saint George Castle.
We will stroll in the area of ceramic workshops and beautiful buildings whose facades are decorated with colourful tiles.
The bullring of the Real Maestranza de Caballería is considered the temple of bullfighting. From Easter Sunday to October, the best-known "matadors" of the world face the bulls in the ancestral struggle of man against nature.
The Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Sede, included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus.
You will have time to relax and enjoy some typical tapas in one of the restaurants I love and where I can make a reservation for you.
This stunning palace, the oldest European royal palace still in use, was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Its gorgeous architecture and its fascinating gardens will seduce you.
Santa Cruz district, the old Jewish quarter of Seville, is a must-see with its narrow alleys, the small squares and the typical Sevillian patios. Here we will follow the tracks of Figaro, Carmen and Don Juan and we will see the beautiful Murillo Gardens, named after the famous Sevillian painter.
We will finish our tour at the square where the three World Heritage Sites are located, the cathedral, the Real Alcázar palace and the Archive of the Indies.

Hola! My name is Giusy and I am a licensed tour guide in Seville, one of the most fascinating cities in the world, the city which adopted me 15 years ago and where I decided to live.
I studied tourism and philology and in 1994 I started my professional career working as a tour guide in Sicily.
After a 10 year experience as an English teacher, in 2008 I arrived in this stunning city.
Foreign languages, art and history have always been my passion and thanks to my studies I also had the opportunity to delve into aspects connected to anthropology, the history of popular cultures, Islamic culture and ethnology.
My education in tourism and my professional experience in this field allow me to adapt to different kinds of guided tours, both for individuals or groups, as well as to the rhythms and the specific needs of each customer, by optimizing the time of the visit.
It will be my pleasure to accompany you on a journey of discovery through this city whose culture, art, architecture and people I love... Seville is the city of colours, smells, tastes...a mixture of feelings to live to the fullest...
