- The meeting point is next to the Alfonso XIII Hotel and very close to the Torre del Oro. We will meet at the large fountain that is right in the middle.
Plaza de la Contratación
In this square was the House of Trade: a place where merchants and travelers had to go to register their goods as well as to ask permission to embark to America. Here I will tell you very interesting stories about independent women.
Archive of Indies
This archive contains very important documentation about America and the colonies. We have documents of women who were an active part of the trade of those centuries.
Plaza de Molviedro
This place was the center of the red district of Seville between the 15th and 17th centuries. I can tell you many curiosities found in the archive about the women who had to resort to these activities to survive.
