KONICHIWA!! I am Mio!

I was born and raised in Hyogo Prefecture, and I moved to Fukuoka about a year and a half ago.

Since I moved here, I have been working as a tour leader, guiding Japanese travelers to beautiful destinations across Kyushu, including Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Saga Prefectures. Through my job, I've had the opportunity to discover many amazing places and experience the unique culture of each region.

Personally, I think Fukuoka has the best food in Japan!

If you'd like to explore places beyond the typical tourist attractions and experience authentic local life, I'd love to be your guide.

On my tours, we'll visit hidden gems that are still unknown to most international visitors, where you can meet local people and enjoy authentic experiences.

I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese. I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan. More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide. I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year. I work as an English guide approximately 130 days a year. My wife is physically disabled, and I usually care for her. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I receive home care and bathing services, so I am unable to go out during the day as I have to prepare for and clean up afterwards. I am available to guide on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I can take up to four people sightseeing in my private car.
