I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese. I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan. More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide. I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year. I work as an English guide approximately 130 days a year. My wife is physically disabled, and I usually care for her. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I receive home care and bathing services, so I am unable to go out during the day as I have to prepare for and clean up afterwards. I am available to guide on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I can take up to four people sightseeing in my private car. I have retired from Japan Ground Self-Defense Force(JGSDF=Japanese Army) on March 2018. I have spent most of my career as a Army NCO(Non-commissioned officer) . My job experiences are only in the military, but there are variety of specialties, so I didn't feel boredom. I lived in many places all over Japan, such as Hokkaido 10years, Chiba 15years, Okinawa 17years and more places. I am working for the half of month as a tour-conductor in Okinawa Japan. Rest of month, I live in Nagasaki Prefecture, and work as a Triple Lights interpreter tour guide. I am registered as a Okinawa prefectural interpreter tour guide, but don't have a whole Japan area certification. So I am brushing my skill up to get it. I speak English, and do basic Chinese conversation , no problem to guide you, not like a native though.

But I assure you Hakata is the best place in Japan to visit and live, since you can visit Kyushu everywhere with stay in Fukuoka as hub and visit Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Oita , or Kagoshima , all of them are wonderful attractive places. Kyushu is actually the origin of Japan in Japanese mythology, which generated the Japanese Shintoism in Takachiho Gorge. There are so many attractive places to see and so many fabulous foods to eat , fresh fish, beef, Motsunabe, Udon, and so many foods were generated from this region. I can introduce and explain a lots of stuff about here to you . To talk about my career, I started to work at company Panasonic and after that , I walked on the career for Automotive component as sales working for American companies. “Entertaining Day ”
I knew Morry was the tour guide for me when I discovered that one of his pre-existing tours included Motonosumi Shrine and that he was willing to go the extra mile to customize my tour. He drove very long distances to show us the picturesque Omijima coastline, stunning red torii gates perched on a bluff overlooking the ocean, and the unique reclining Buddha at Nanzoin Temple. Morry’s attention to detail is flawless as he figured out the best pick up point, communicated before and after the tour with insights related to our tour and suggestions of what to see and eat after our tour ended. He is a born entertainer sharing stories and magic tricks mixed in with historical commentary on the attractions we saw.

“Great entertainer”
Morry is a very entertaining tour guide, and he will pepper your tour with amazing up close magic tricks! My son who likes magic and is usually skeptical of most magic shows is honestly baffled by quite a few of his tricks despite having the chance to observe up close. Our tour was on a rainy day but Morry came prepared with wet weather gear for us. It was a good day out.
