Hello, everyone!! My name is Yukihiro(行博), call me "HERO". I'm eager to introduce this unique country, Japan to foreign guests. I am not a professional interpreter. I have retired from Japan Ground Self-Defense Force(JGSDF=Japanese Army) on March 2018. I have spent most of my career as a Army NCO(Non-commissioned officer) . My job experiences are only in the military, but there are variety of specialties, so I didn't feel boredom. I lived in many places all over Japan, such as Hokkaido 10years, Chiba 15years, Okinawa 8years and more places. I am working for the half of month as a tour-conductor in Okinawa Japan. Rest of month, I live in Nagasaki Prefecture, and work as a Triple Lights interpreter tour guide. 我一邊在沖繩當旅遊服務員大概半個月,一邊在九州長崎當Triple Lights的翻譯導游工作剩餘的月。 I am registered as a Okinawa prefectural interpreter tour guide (English & Chinese), but don't have a whole Japan area certification. So I am brushing my skill up to get it. 我登記了沖繩縣的地域翻譯導遊(英/中文),可是沒有全國的。所以為了獲得全國導遊資格,我正在繼續學外語。 I speak English, Chinese (simplify & traditional) , no problem to guide you, not like a native though. 我會說英語和中文(簡/繁),作為您的導游沒問題,沒有母語的人那麼好。

I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. Born in Sasebo Nagasaki Prefecture, I live in Fukuoka city now. I cultivated the spirit of hospitality during my career at hotels in Asian countries, including Malaysia, Maldives, and Thailand, and at a hotel in Australia. After returning to Japan, I engaged in inbound tourism introducing great sites, Japanese culture, and Japanese food. I confidently show around historical sites and urbanized areas and introduce delicious food in Fukuoka and Kyushu. I guide you to beautiful places according to your plans. I like traveling at home and abroad, watching movies, sports, and comedies. I also love music and often go to live concerts. Therefore, I can share a wide range of topics. I am looking forward to seeing you and will help you make memories.

Hi! I am Kazue. I am from Fukuoka and live in the central city. I spent almost 20 years traveling around the world as a cabin attendant. Meeting different people, different cultures and eating local food were best things in my career. This experience definitely widened my perspective and will help me in some way when I work as a guide. Since I spent half my life outside of Japan, I noticed our culture and traditions are very unique and became more interested in historical sites in Japan. For my personal life, I am a mom of twins. It is still a hard work but I am enjoying a lot with them. We take them around Kyushu whenever possible for their fun and experience. We all love traveling after all. I am looking forward to showing you around our hometown soon!

I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese. I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan. More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide. I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year. I guided 1,420 people with 17 groups totaly in 2017and 1,600 people in 1018. Through long work for travel business, I was assigned to excursions of all over Japan, such as Sapporo, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa and others, which gave me intimate knowledge about most places in the country. In addition, I am adept in business fields and knowledgeable about historical sites, traditional culture and modern subcultures in Japan. My wife is a disabled person with an intractable disease who needs 24-hour nursing care. Our daughter takes care of my wife while I am guiding. Even if my schedule is free, I may not be able to take the tour on days when my daughter cannot cooperate. Please ask me first. If it is possible.

Hello! My name is Tadashi. I was born and raised in Fukuoka and I've lived here all my life. I used to work for a local bank where I was mainly involved in export, import, and foreign exchange, etc. Afterwards I joined a university where I taught international economics and foreign trade for five years. I'm happy to arrange your tour plans according to your requests and help you to write your own unique story with me. If you're coming to Fukuoka for the first time, I recommend Tochoji Temple, Kushida Shrine and Fukuoka Castle Ruins where you can get feel for Japanese culture and history. Thirty minutes away from the center by train is Dazaifu. There you can enjoy a very famous shrine, Dazaifu Tenmangu, known as the home of " the god of literature or calligraphy." and Kyushu National Museum. Fukuoka is also a mecca for shopping and food. If you're coming to Fukuoka again, I recommend that you try local food, for example, Hakata Ramen-noodles in pork broth and locally caught fish. I can also take you to a traditional Japanese shopping arcade, Kawabata Shotengai. If you would like to get out of the city, we could go to Yanagawa, a town of canals, which is a one hour ride from the city center. You can try boat tours enjoying the leisurely view of the historic buildings and try Steamed Eel. Fukuoka travel tip: if you arrive in Fukuoka by JR, make sure to get off at "Hakata Station." Sorry, there's no "Fukuoka Station." on JR lines. Hakata is an old name for Fukuoka and your destination. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi! My name is Yasuhiko Ikeda, please call me "Yasu", meaning "hello" in Greek. After I worked in an electric company in Japan, I became a professional guide to introduce my town, my country. After Covid-19, tourism is back! you may want to have more private experiences like no other people had before. Then, my home, Fukuoka, has a lot to show you around. So many nice places, cultures, and nice local people with delicious local foods. I like sports, climbing, running etc. I also like to visit temples and shrines. I am also an active backpacker, (have been to 50+ countries mostly in Asia and Europe over 30 years) So, I suppose I know well about where you would like to visit. :) I have never lived outside of Japan, however, you may also feel better that my speaking English is not typical Japanese "flat" intonation. Where you would like to go, I will be there with you! I am looking forward to inquiry. -Yasu

Hi, thank you for reading my profile. I'm Hitomi. I've lived and visited many countries such as US, Canada, France, Spain, Singapore, Australia etc. Because I'm interested in learning different cultures and languages and I love meeting people from all over the world. When I visited Vietnam, I took a private tour with a local guide. Her private tour was very unique and fun, it made my trip very special and unforgettable. I had a really good time with her. That experience made me want to be a guide in Japan. Visiting other countries and experiencing other cultures are very exciting and refreshing. There're lots of things to see and experience in Japan too. Let's enjoy and have a memorable time together! Hello, everyone! I am Yoshiharu, a national certified tour guide. Fukuoka is my birthplace, so I have a close attachment to this region. Though you may not be familiar with the name of Fukuoka, I assure you that Fukuoka will provide new discovery and pleasure to your stay in Japan. I have a passion to introduce my country and regions from many points of views. Japan is a country which offers original culture and history. On the other hand, Japan has another attractiveness represented by advanced toilets with many functions, hotels with robot receptionists and so on. The co-existing society with the image of old Japan and the present Japan with high technology definitely make Japan a more attractive place. Not only take you to sightseeing spots and give you some explanations, but also I will help you to learn much more deeply about Japan and Japanese people, their way of thinking and lifestyle. In Addition to the tour guide license, I have received the qualification of international kikisake-shi,.sake sommelier. I will do my best to make your stay in Japan more memorable in a fun way. Let’s go out for new adventures together! (NOTE) I am not a land operator. It means that I don't make reservations for vans, accommodations and other things for you except I think it is indispensable for me. I can give you some advice but, for example, if you want to charter a van for your travel, please contact taxi companies and make a reservation by yourselves. If you have difficulties doing it that way, please contact GoWithGuide or land operators in Japan and your country. Thank you for your understanding.

Satisfaction guaranteed

Yasuhiko-san is professional and personable. While he's ordinarily a tour guide, and I can imagine him being a knowledgeable and engaging one, I needed a Japanese-English interpreter for a meeting in Fukuoka. Yasu not only participated actively in our six-hour meeting, ensuring that I was kept in the loop throughout the day, first he scheduled our meeting and made sure he had everyones contact information - just in case. The other participants were busy professors/researchers and a city official, so Yasu's professionalism lent credibility to our gathering. In addition, he suggested that a journalist could support our efforts. When I agreed, he took it upon himself to email and then spoke over the phone with the journalist I had identified as a good match. I would trust Yasu with the best interests of a small or a large group. You can count on him to be well-prepared, attentive, flexible, and guarantee satisfaction.

Yasuhiko I.

Erika-san, thank you very much for taking your time for my review. Guiding you was really different from any other guide experiences I had before, and I was a bit anxious how it would go. The moment I met you that feeling disappeared! I liked your personality, your encouragement to others and to yourself, and all of us were so motivated. It believe it was our destiny that you have chosen me, and I was the best one for you in Fukuoka. Keep my fingers crossed for your ancestral trip on the way. Good luck!! -Yasu

Excellent Guide!

Miss Hitomi is an excellent tour guide. She knew how to manage the timing perfectly so that we had time to do everything. She took care of all the reservations, arranged for a private taxi and even had a wonderful Shinto ceremony. Hitomi is very kind and friendly, and in a very easy and entertaining way she explained to us the myths of Japan. 100% recommended and eternally grateful.
