On this tour, you’ll visit Munakata Taisha, which was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017. Munakata is a little off the beaten path and relatively difficult to access, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll also get to experience the local cuisine. Munakata is especially well known for its fresh seafood, and I’ll take you to some of my favorite local restaurants. If you prefer meat or other types of food, I can also customize the experience for you.

After visiting Munakata Taisha, we’ll drive about 10–15 minutes to a local restaurant. I’ll take you to a restaurant known for its delicious fresh fish dishes, a specialty of the Munakata area. If you prefer meat or have any dietary preferences, I can arrange a suitable restaurant for you.

KONICHIWA!! I am Mio!

I was born and raised in Hyogo Prefecture, and I moved to Fukuoka about a year and a half ago.

Since I moved here, I have been working as a tour leader, guiding Japanese travelers to beautiful destinations across Kyushu, including Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Saga Prefectures. Through my job, I've had the opportunity to discover many amazing places and experience the unique culture of each region.

Personally, I think Fukuoka has the best food in Japan!
