“Excellent! Truly amzing tour by Yoko!”
My family and I's experience was truly amazing! We wanted to experience a tour of the local Japan culture of the Fukuoka Prefecture and we got it! From experiencing the shrines and temples to the Japanese Garden waterfall was definitely worth our while! We will definitely book a tour with Yoko again if we can and next time we want to see the lying budda and more waterfalls. 10 out of 10!!!

Thank you very much for joining my Fukuoka Historical Tour the other day. I was overjoyed to receive such a wonderful review from you. It was an extremely hot day, but I was delighted to see you enjoying the tour with such energy and smiles. You listened so keenly to the historical stories—it was truly a pleasure to share them with you. I greatly enjoyed talking about the origins of Fukuoka and Hakata, as well as the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival. I was deeply moved by your kindness. I would be honored to guide you again—perhaps to see the great Buddha at Nanzoin or other places you find interesting. I’m already looking forward to the day we meet again.

“Excellent walking tour around Fukuoka”
We started off by taking the train to Daizaifu shrine, which wasn't too busy at 10am. I bought a snack of warabi mochi which was yummy. We pased the famout Starbucks, and made our way over the 3 bridges to the shrine itself. If you see a long queue to touch the bull, don't g to that one as there are a few ones around with no queue. Pro tip: make your way to the stairs to Tenkai Inari Shrine as it's away from the crowds. We then made our way back into Fukuoka to Curry Honpo, a delicious speciality curry restaurant using a recipe going back decades. We then visited Kushida Shrine, Hakata Machiya Hometown Museum and finally Tochoji Temple. Hitomi was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended!
