This tour is only available during autumn and winter(end of October to March). You will visit Itoshima to eat fresh oyster and seafood straight out of the ocean. After lunch, we take a train to visit Karatsu city. “Great tour, great guide!”
Kazue is very knowledgeable about Fukuoka and conversing with her in English was seamless. I did the Yatai Stall tour, and she helped pick some excellent stalls to stop at, and even advised me on some other stalls I might try in the future. If you are thinking about doing a tour in Hakata, look no further because Kazue is the best!

“Authentic Yatai Experience with a Fantastic Guide”
I joined the Yatai stall tour on my own and had such a memorable evening thanks to Morry. He knows Fukuoka inside and out, and it really showed in the places he chose — each stop had its own character, great food, and stories behind it. Even as a solo traveler I felt completely comfortable and included, and I enjoyed hearing his perspectives on the city’s history and daily life. If you want a relaxed, authentic introduction to Fukuoka’s nightlife and local culture, this tour is an excellent choice.
