Hello/Konnichiha, Welcome to the beautiful Ogasawara islands.
I am your guide Shun. I've lived on Chichijima(the main island in the Ogasawara islands group)for the past 10 years. Prior to this I became a scuba diving instructor in 2006 and have worked Australia, Guam and Fiji before moving to Chichijima in 2010.
I have a strong background in environmental protection and I am currently engaged in the protection of Albatross on uninhabited island of Ogasawara. I also study Ogasawara native insects and help out with efforts for the removal of invasive species.
I love Japanese traditional festival and marine activities as surfing, standup-paddling, fishing and diving.
I am not a native speaker of English, However I learned English through working as a diving instructor in various countries. I will guide you the island with 'Omotenasi-heart', the Japanese spirit of hospitality.

Half-day Chichijima Tour, Ogasawara islands
This half day sightseeing tour will introduce you to tropical Chichijima with local guide who has lived on the island over 10 years. I can take you to some popular sightseeing spots on the island. If you have any special requests, then feel free to ask and I would be glad to accommodate your request where I can.
Heart-Rock Trekking Tour in Chichijima, Ogasawara
This trekking tour is for advanced.It takes about 3hours one way. The Heart-rock is located southern part of Chichijima. You will meet some rare native plants, insects and bird on the way. There is the spectacular viewing from end of trail. You can see Humpback wheles in winter and Hahajima islands where located 50KM south from Chichijima, If the weather condition is good.
