This half day sightseeing tour will introduce you to tropical Chichijima with local guide who has lived on the island over 10 years. I can take you to some popular sightseeing spots on the island. Sakaiura beach
There is a shipwreck named Hinko-maru that was transport ship to carry coal from Chine before war.
Currently, Hinako-maru is a paradise for small fishes and good snorkeling spot.
Mt. Chuo
It takes about 15min short hike from main road.
Mt.Chou is the highest point of the island.
It remains the base of radio wave detector during the war.
You will hear beautiful twitter on way, It’s bush warbler that subspecies bird of Ogasawara.
Ogasawara marine center
This is turtle protection and educational facility.
Ogasawara islands is the largest green sea turtle breeding ground in Japan.
You may see baby sea turtles on spawning season from April to August.

About Tour Guide Shunsuke T.
Hello/Konnichiha, Welcome to the beautiful Ogasawara islands.
I am your guide Shun. I've lived on Chichijima(the main island in the Ogasawara islands group)for the past 10 years. Prior to this I became a scuba diving instructor in 2006 and have worked Australia, Guam and Fiji before moving to Chichijima in 2010.
I have a strong background in environmental protection and I am currently engaged in the protection of Albatross on uninhabited island of Ogasawara. I also study Ogasawara native insects and help out with efforts for the removal of invasive species.
I love Japanese traditional festival and marine activities as surfing, standup-paddling, fishing and diving.
I am not a native speaker of English, However I learned English through working as a diving instructor in various countries. I will guide you the island with 'Omotenasi-heart', the Japanese spirit of hospitality.

Shunsuke is friendly and a good guide. He took time to understand what we wanted to see which was really great so we got to see a lot of interesting spots and learn about Ogasawara history, we would really recommend the tour :)
