Hello, I'm Yoshi!! I started my second career as a tour guide after retiring from the Japanese computer company I had worked for about 40 years. I was born in Asakusa and grew up in down town in Tokyo. I am married with two daughters and three grandchildren, two girls and a boy.
I've experienced guiding international visitors in Tokyo and other famous sightseeing spots as a guide for several years. I will be so happy to help you enjoy your stay in Japan. Look forward to joining my tour!!

I am available from 9am to 5pm everyday.
I am flexible to one day trip to Hakone, Lake Kawaguchi and Nikko if you pay my transportation fee on top of the tour in Tokyo.

We can discuss and decide places to visit effectively for a limited amount of time. One example is shown here as follows, but I'm sure I will take you to some of my best selections so that you could enjoy both of traditional and modern culture. Wonderful Hakone to be left in your memorial album
Hakone is one of Japan's most popular tourist destinations with easy access from Tokyo, attracting both of international and domestic visitors seeking a break from busy city life. There are many hot spring resort with numerous inns, restaurants and gift shops. You can enjoy the magnificent beauty of nature including breathtaking views of nearby Mt. Fuji. Lake Kawaguchi, Mt. Fuji, Pagoda and Cherry blossoms!
Lake kawaguchi is one of the Five Lakes at the foot of Mt. Fuji and also a resort area. Visitors can enjoy various experiences on top of fine view of Mt. Fuji throughout the year. Many kinds of delicious local food like "Robatayaki" and "Hoto noodle" are available.
Kamakura, let's explore the traditional town!
Kamakura is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan with easy access from Tokyo, I'll pick up you at your staying hotel and take you to one day trip to Kamakura which is located about 50km southwest of Tokyo. Kamakura was the seat of the first military government called Shogunate during the period from the end of 12th century to the early 14th century. Then Kamakura has many historical and cultural sites and attracts visitors all over the world as well as Kyoto and Nara.

I'll pick up you at your hotel and take you to traditional areas, Fukagawa and Ryougoku, which are reminiscent of old townscape in Edo, former name of Tokyo. You can enjoy more comfortable atmosphere apart from popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo. And at the end of my tour I'll take you to your favorite shopping area, Ginza, Shibuya or Shinjuku before leaving.
Yokohama, Night View Tour
Yokohama is a retro-modern port city that blends the old and the new and attracts many tourists. This evening, you can enjoy Yokohama's greatest attraction: the Night View.

Wonderful Hakone to be left in your memorial album
“Wonderful family tour!”
Yoshi took our Aussie family (2 parents, 4 kids aged 5-11) on the most wonderful tour of Hakone. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide! Yoshi was super friendly and extremely organised. He created the perfect blend of culture, beautiful scenery, delicious food and local education. He was very patient and kind with our small kids and set the perfect pace for a very big family of young kids. His English is very very good. We highly recommend Yoshi!

“Great tour with Yoshi-San”
Yoshi-San is a very friendly and knowledgeable Japanese, English-speaking gentleman. He used to work for a Japanese company, for which he traveled abroad a lot, and became a full-time guide 6 years ago. He took our family on a great two-day tour around Tokyo. He went to pick us up at the hotel and dropped us back at the hotel as well, which was very convenient. He brought custom-made printed pages to each visit to make sure we fully understood and retained the key historical / cultural details. He took us to nice places to visit and eat, suggested breaks when appropriate, proposed to take pictures, and was very understanding (our kids were exhausted from the plane trip so we had to cut part of the 8-hour program the first day). He is a fast-walker so make sure to bring appropriate shoes :-). Highly recommend!
