Hello, I'm Yoshi!! I started my second career as a tour guide after retiring from the Japanese computer company I had worked for about 40 years. I was born in Asakusa and grew up in down town in Tokyo. I’m married with two daughters and three grandchildren, two girls and a boy.
I've experienced guiding international visitors in Tokyo and other famous sightseeing spots as a guide for several years. I will be so happy to help you enjoy your stay in Japan. Look forward to joining my tour!!
I am available from 9am to 5pm everyday.
I am flexible to one day trip to Hakone, Lake Kawaguchi and Nikko if you pay my transportation fee on top of the tour in Tokyo.
All tours can be customized for you. Send me a message with your requests!

“Enjoyable walking in Tokyo”
A peaceful walk through a lush forested path leading to Tokyo’s most important shrine. Traditional Tokyo district centered around Senso-ji Temple.

“Great tour with Yoshi”
We had a very enjoyable day with Yoshi as our guide. He prepared a tour of Tokyo based on our wishes. It was well organized and a good balance of history, culture, food and religion. Highly recommend him

Hi Barbara, thank you for your warm message and walking a lot in the heat of the day. I’m sorry most of the stores and restaurants are closed on the Yanaka Street unfortunately. I hope you can enjoy a group tour all over Japan. Yoshi

“A great start to our Tokyo vacation!”
I contacted Yoshi from the UK and asked him to recommend a first day in Tokyo. He responded with a custom itinerary suggesting spots he thought we would like. On the day, we toured the best of Tokyo, from the Meiji Jingu Shrine to famous districts in Tokyo telling us about the sites and giving us time to explore on our own. The tour made our holiday - he explained how to navigate the subway and rail network, he helped us order food, and explained some of the customs and etiquette at shrines - that foundation helped make the rest of the holiday. Thankyou Yoshisan.

Hi Nick, thank you for your kind message despite your busy schedule before returning home today. I also had pleasure of guiding you and your son. Your son is a well-educated and nice guy. I hope you will come to Japan with your wife next time.
