Nikko tour was so stunning and beautiful.

We recently had the pleasure of taking a tour in Japan, guided by Yoshi. Overall, it was a well-organized experience, and I truly appreciate Yoshi's efforts in making our trip enjoyable. From the beginning, Yoshi was incredibly responsive and organized. He communicated with me promptly via email, reminding us of our upcoming activities several times. He also took care of our train reservations and ensured we arrived on time at each station, which made traveling around Japan much smoother. A standout moment was when he went the extra mile to help my husband find his misplaced wallet at Team Labs, providing him with directions and support. This level of care truly made a difference. However, I did face a couple of challenges during the tour. Yoshi walked at a fast pace, which made it difficult for me to keep up at times. Due to a medical condition, I struggled to maintain that speed, and I would have appreciated it if he had looked back occasionally to check on our group. I didn't feel comfortable sharing my condition with him, but I believe a slightly slower pace would benefit travelers who may need it. Additionally, while we tried to engage in conversation, Yoshi's responses felt somewhat reserved. He seemed a bit closed off, which made it challenging to connect on a more personal level compared to other tours we experienced during our trip. In conclusion, while Yoshi was efficient and organized, I believe that adding a more open and adaptable approach to pacing and conversation could enhance the experience for future travelers. Thank you, Yoshi, for your dedication and support throughout our adventure!

Hi Jenn, thank you for your candid feedback. Your young boys were walking energetically ahead of us, so I may have walked briskly to keep up with them. Also, while I intended to be open in my manner, if I came across as closed-off, I would like to improve on that in the future. Tahnk you Yoshi.

Thorough great tour of Tokyo!

Our tour with Yoshi was the perfect way to spend our first day in Tokyo, and we highly recommend him. From the very beginning, his communication leading up to the day was clear and helpful, making the logistics and planning completely seamless. Yoshi was incredibly efficient and kept us moving at a great pace—we put in about 20,000 steps to make sure we hit all the landmarks and sites we wanted to see. At the same time, he was highly flexible with the itinerary, adjusting it on the fly to account for sites we had already visited on our own and allowing us time for shopping. Throughout the day, he managed all the logistics smoothly and taught us the proper customs to follow at the temples and shrines. He also took us to a great sushi lunch and was glad to answer all of our questions about Japanese culture and history. If you want an organized, knowledgeable, and proactive guide for a packed day in Tokyo, definitely book a tour with Yoshi - it is a packed and active day, which is exactly what we wanted!

Hi Kendall, Thank you so much for your kind words of praise. I also enjoyed being with you and your family. Your comments are a great encouragement to me as I continue to work as a guide. I hope to see you again if I have the opportunity to come to Japan again. Yoshi

Yoshi delivered showing us all highlights Tokyo has to offer!

In only 2 days, Yoshi was able to show us most of the highlights that North, South, East, and West Tokyo offer. Because of the volume of sites to see and things to do, I think it would take you at least 1 year to see everything. We are glad we opted for a personal guide because if we had to navigate the subways, trains, boats, buses, and monorail, we would probably still be lost! Yoshi was very knowledgeable about Japanese history. We give him a 5-star rating and would recommend him to anyone. PS: Yoshi is an older gentleman, but I doubt most young people could keep up with him.

Hi myrna, thank you for your 5-star review. I was also so happy guiding you in Japan and grateful you walked a lot and steadily everyday. I hope you enjoyed your trans-Pacific cruise and Wendy's grandchildren like the souvenirs she bought. Yoshi
