Hello. My name is Marisa and I am a tour guide in the ancient, mysterious and beautiful city of Lisbon. Lisbon is an ancient city and Phoenicians, Romans, Muslims, Catholics passed through this city all left their mark in heritage, words and food. Lisbon was also a city of spies. Even the real James Bond ( yes, it was a real James Bond) lived here and worked here.

“Incredible Tour and Guide”

We only had three days in Lisbon and hoped to get a good sense of the city and area. This tour with Marisa was a spectacular look and lesson about Portugal, Lisbon and Sintra. Her knowledge of the area was amazing and, even better, she put things in cultural context. Marisa is a great guide and you see and learn a lot on the drive to Sintra. Peña Palace is an amazing palace and she breathes life into it as she shares its history. The Palace and grounds afford amazing views. Just to note there are a lot of stairs and steps so a tour of the palace is not appropriate for those with mobility challenges. Sintra, itself, is beautiful and absolutely charming. We are so glad we did this tour with Marisa and were left with an appreciation of Lisbon and desire to return again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an educational tour.

“I had magnificent moments.”

Being with Marisa on the beautiful streets that went up, then down, and were full of history, is truly a blessing. “Great History”

This tour was absolutely wonderful. Marisa was an excellent guide. She had so much information that it almost to hard to process! She had fabulous pictures of the people she was talking about to go along with the stops on the tour. She even gave me book suggestions for further "homework".
