One Day Tour with the picturesque scenery in Kyoto
Kyoto was an ancient capital of Japan. It has many historical places, remains, artefacts and cultures.
There are also temples, shrines and castles which have been well preserved.
On this tour, we will visit a breathtakingly beautiful shrine which is located in Fushimi in the south part of Kyoto city, Nijo castle which is one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kyoto, and Kyoto station which is attractive modern architecture.
Let's enjoy walking and seeing the picturesque scenery in Kyoto.

Fushimi Inari Shrine
Fushimi Inari Shrine has a 1300 year-old history dating back to 711 when the Inari deity was first enshrined on Mt. Inari.
This shrine is the grand shrine of 30,000 Inari shrines in Japan.
Mt. Inari is rich in nature and a place where deity dwells.
The deity is the god of bountiful harvests, food, clothing and housing that support our daily lives.
The shrine is famous for ' Senbon Torii' meaning 1000 gates.
More than 1000 gates lead up to the top of Mt. Inari where the main god resides.
We can enjoy climbing the mountain, seeing the picturesque gates and sacred areas in the Inari Shrine.

There are some local restaurants near Inari shrine.
You can find your favorite food.
Nijo Castle
The Nijo Castle is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kyoto. It was built in 1603 for administrative purposes, not military unlike other castles.
The castle served as the residence of the Tokugawa family, who organized the shogunate at that time, and their retainers when they visited Kyoto. The Tokugawa family wanted to show their authority by building a gorgeous castle. The garden was also designed beautifully so that visitors including the emperor could enjoy the view from the castle.
We can enjoy a very attractive gate, beautiful traditional and modern gardens, and a magnificent view from the site of the castle tower.
Kyoto station
Kyoto was an ancient capital of Japan so there is a lot of heritage there. People enjoy visiting old temples, shrines, beautiful gardens and experiencing unique Japanese culture but Kyoto has another attraction. It has fascinating modern architecture. It enhances attractive tourist destinations in Kyoto.
This station is the entrance for Kyoto city. Around 400 thousand people commute to this station.
It is also the gateway to the most visited tourist spot and an international city in Kyoto prefecture. The station has business and cultural facilities, parking, theaters, open spaces and observatories.
We can enjoy walking around the station, having a great view of Kyoto city and modern architecture in Kyoto.

On this tour, we'll enjoy seeing the picturesque scenery in Kyoto.
Kyoto had been the ancient capital of Japan for more than 1000 years so there are many historical places, artefacts, remains ,culture and architecture.
Kyoto is the most famous and popular tourist spot in Japan.
There are many places to visit but I would like to say a word, 'Enjoy relaxing and peaceful Kyoto.'
I chose only three places on this tour.
The tour will show you the following.

・This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
• Several places we will visit do not accept credit cards, so please bring cash.
・If the weather forecast predicts rain on the day of the tour, you can either have the tour with a different itinerary or you can cancel the tour and get your money back.
・This is 8-hour tour. Please bring something to drink.
・The weather in Japan is changeable. Just in case, please prepare your umbrellas or raincoats.
Important message from the guide
I am available for doing tours in Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Kobe at least three days in a week.
I usually know my schedule a month in advance.
Please check my schedule before booking.
I can also do tours until 8 pm (finish time) in Osaka and Nara, 7 pm (finish time) in Kyoto and Kobe.
My transportation fees and lunch costs are not included in the tour price so I respectfully request you pay these costs in cash at the end of the tour.

One Day Tour with the Magnificent View in Saga Arashiyama
“Wonderful Experience”
I'm so happy we booked the tour for Saga Arashiyama with Atsuko. She was really nice and well prepared. She gave us a list of where we were going to go. We went to a section of the bamboo grove that was not over crowded with tourist. She took us to Toriimoto area and Adashino Nenbutsu Temple, as well as other places. It was very beautiful and scenic. Atsuko was very informative, answered all our questions. We went to a restaurant that had different options for our dietary needs. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The pace was just perfect. We took breaks along the way and just enjoyed the views. If I ever get the chance to go back, I will be booking again with her. “Osaka - A great place to visit”
We wished the Cherry Blossom were blooming in full force but we had a great time with our Osaka visit. Atsuko was awesome and so caring for the 4 of us. She met us at the cruise port and was so detailed is our tour to ensure that we visited all the must see places. She planned the public transports with ready-to-go Suica cards for all of us.
