“Subaru factory tour”
Rieko was an excellent interpreter for the Japanese-only Subaru factory tour. Her warm and friendly nature made the technical details clear and concise throughout the tour. She even went above and beyond by dropping us off at the local station afterwards. The booking process was incredibly responsive and clear, including a friendly reminder just before the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Rieko to anyone needing interpreter services.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I’m very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour, and I’m glad I could be of help. According to the tour staff, about 90% of the cars manufactured at the Yajima Factory are shipped overseas. I hope you’ll think of this tour when you see a car with Subaru’s six-star emblem. It was a pleasure accompanying you on the tour.

“Subaru Factory tour ”
Rieko did an excellent job translating the Japanese only tour for us. She arrived early and made sure we understood what we needed to do. We had a great time and highly recommend Rieko to anyone needing a translator.

Thank you so much for your kind review. It was truly a pleasure to be part of your journey. It was a great opportunity to accompany you on the factory tour of one of Japan’s great car manufacturers. This experience has surely broadened my knowledge and will help me provide better tours. Thank you again for having me as your guide.

“A fantastic tour with hidden gems”
I initially booked this tour because I’m a huge Initial D fan, but I ended up getting so much more out of it than I expected. Rieko was very knowledgeable about the specific sites we visited! One of the highlights was when we went to a restaurant that served the best soba I’ve had in Japan! However, the biggest surprise of the day was Haruna Shrine. It was an on-and-off rainy day, and somehow, that just made the place even more stunning. The misty atmosphere, combined with the natural beauty, created such a peaceful setting. If you’re considering a tour in the Gunma area, I can’t recommend Rieko enough. She’s the perfect guide for both Initial D fans and anyone interested in the cultural gems of the region. Whether you’re visiting for anime-related spots or just looking to explore, this tour is definitely worth it!

Thank you very much for your wonderful review. I’m delighted to hear that you enjoyed not only the Initial D spots but also Haruna Shrine and the soba restaurant. This summer was extremely hot in Japan, and I was worried about the weather. On the day of our tour, it turned out to be drizzly. It was not perfect, but the light rain created a mysterious and beautiful atmosphere, which I think made the experience special. I also enjoyed our conversations, and thank you for sharing stories about countries I have yet to discover. It was such a pleasure to be part of your journey.

Hi, I’m Aiko! I love connecting with people and communicating in English, and that’s what led me to start this work. I’ve always wanted to interact with travelers directly and share the charm of the places I call home. While studying abroad, I often talked about Japan with people from different countries. Not only famous destinations like Tokyo and Kyoto, but also my hometown, Gunma, which I truly believe is a wonderful place worth discovering. I enjoy traveling around my local area even on my days off, and I’d love to share that side of Japan with you. I have studied abroad in the Philippines and later spent about a year and a half living mainly in Vancouver, Canada. During that time, I studied at a vocational school while gaining hands-on experience through internships such as cruise planning, SNS marketing, and English conversation programs for Japanese learners. I also worked part-time as a restaurant server, where I interacted with tourists on a daily basis. My goal is to offer experiences that make you think, “I want to come back to Japan again!” I’m really looking forward to meeting you and helping make your trip meaningful and enjoyable through fun conversations and shared experiences :)

Yukiko F.
I'm Yukiko. I'm a Licensed Tour Guide and a Registered Nurse. I've worked as a guide since 2015. Thanks to increasing repeat, referred and new clients, tour guide is my main job. I was born and raised in Tokyo. I am 3T lover- Travel, Tea ceremony and Traditional and modern arts. I am a mother so that I'd be glad to welcome families with young children. I used to teach Japanese cultures to elementary students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at local and private elementary schools when I lived in Canada, United states, and New Zealand. My happiest moments with these children were when they look forward to another lesson every week. All lessons were customized and prepared after discussing with each classroom teacher. It was a challenging job, but this experience broaden my horizon and prompted me to become an English tour guide. My main tour area are Tokyo, Kamakura, Yokohama, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Gunma and Nikko. It's a private personalized tour so that I'd be happy to discuss about it with you in advance to make your tour pleasant. We can include Japanese cultural experiences if you'd like. I also have done virtual experience on Amazon and company events during the last 3 years pandemic. I took the plunge, it was definitely a great step and enhanced my guiding skills. I have a license of Registered Nurse and a Medical interpreter. I've still worked as a nurse during the off- tourism season so that I've kept a medical back ground. I've experienced to do several tours for mobility challenged clients who have intractable disease and have a difficulty for a long walking. Mobility challenged customers (cane/wheelchair) are always welcomed. I'd love to make your trip meaningful and unforgettable. Please feel free to contact with me anytime.
