I am a licensed guide interpreter. I have seven years of working experience in a foreign company, where I enjoyed communicating with people with various backgrounds. So I love my job as a guide that can broaden my view through direct interaction with foreign visitors.
I have been living in Fukuoka for 20 years. Among several cities I have lived or stayed in before, Fukuoka is the best place with rich nature, history, exciting urban areas and excellent cuisine!

My working days are basically Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but Saturday is available as well in consulting with my familiy.
I am not available during Obon holidays in mid August and new year holidays.

History Exploration and Relaxing Onsen Tour
This tour is composed of two main attractions; exploring historical structures in "Hakata old town", and immersing yourself in a refreshing hot spring located in the seaport area. Through the first half of the trip, you would experience the traditional townscape with the Japanese style garden, shrines and temples. The tiredness of walking will be healed by the hot spring bath and fresh seafood lunch. Please fully enjoy the tradiotional cultures and experiences.
History Exploration and Local Town Walking Tour
You would experience the traditional Japanese cultures by visiting the Japanese style garden, the shrine and the temple. A historical museum would also showcase the history of Hakata and some notable craft products that have long been preserved. Please enjoy the fresh seafood dish for lunch! A stroll in a small but bustling local town is another attraction. Walking along the shopping street, you would feel an energetic atmosphere of everyday life.

Chiyako was a wonderful guide for a day in Fukuoka. I would recommend her to any visitor wanting to learn something new. She was so personable and calm and cheerful, but more importantly she took me to unique places. I saw classic temples as well as ordinary life. She had done her research in order to educate me about many things and was well prepared. It was a totally pleasant tour. Take her tour!

“Excellent private customized tour”
Chiyako san is a very passionate, Flexible and elegant lady. We had an wonderful tour with her. She was punctual and well-prepared. At the beginning, we're going to have an onsen experience, but two of our family members couldn't get into onsen due to some reasons. We asked Chiyako san if we can change our itinerary. She agreed immediately even it was two days before the tour. She took us to the Hakata clay doll painting experience. We were having a lot of fun. She also took us to but some imariyaki and edokiriko (as we requested). We bought some beautiful porcelains. We finally went to toujoji temple to see the spiritual buildings and Buddha. We highly recommend Chiyako san as your tour guide in Fukuoka! She is diligent and committed!

“Our private tour of Fukuoka with Chiyako as our guide”
We are a group of 8 people from Australia and it was our first visit to Japan. I can say that without Chiyako to guide us in Fukuoka, we wouldn't have seen much of the place and wouldn't have enjoyed as much as we did. Aside from her fluent English (being an English teacher) she was very punctual, polite, patient and flexible with her time. She was very helpful with our queries and personal requests. We learned a lot about the places we went to from her very clear commentaries. We have no hesitations at all in getting her services again and will highly recommend her to our friends who would be visiting Fukuoka. We are all giving her 5 stars review!

I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese. I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan. More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide. I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year. I guided 1,420 people with 17 groups totaly in 2017and 1,600 people in 1018. Through long work for travel business, I was assigned to excursions of all over Japan, such as Sapporo, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa and others, which gave me intimate knowledge about most places in the country.
