I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese.
I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan.
More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide.
I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started from the following year.
I guided 1,420 people with 17 groups totaly in 2017and 1,600 people in 1018.
Through long work for travel business, I was assigned to excursions of all over Japan, such as Sapporo, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa and others, which gave me intimate knowledge about most places in the country.
In addition, I am adept in business fields and knowledgeable about historical sites, traditional culture and modern subcultures in Japan.
My wife is a disabled person with an intractable disease who needs 24-hour nursing care.
Our daughter takes care of my wife while I am guiding.
Even if my schedule is free, I may not be able to take the tour on days when my daughter cannot cooperate.
Please ask me first. If it is possible.
Showing non-Japanese around Japan is what I have always wanted to do, thus I appreciate my clients and do my best to serve them. It's my pleasure to strive to make plans, which will be uniquely suited for each client, in line with their requests with the sole object of fulfilling my duty. And entertainment with my professional magic through your tour.
We had such an amazing time in Fukuoka - and I have to thank you for being the best tour guide ever! You're awesome and I'm so glad we got to explore the city together. Thank you for your wonderful review. Please come to Japan again. I can guide you all over Japan.
Morry-san is great! During dull time, he played magics and tought us a lot of fun facts. He even gave prizes. I can say that he is well-informed in his field of work. I will not hesitate to recommend his services to my friends. All good words for him; we have no complain at all.
Leah-san Thanks for the great review. I'm verry happy you enjoy it. Please let me know if you have any plans to come to Japan again. Maraming salamat. Morry
Mori-san was the most magical of tour guides we had while in Japan. Lots of slick facts, and slicker magic tricks during travel or downtime. We learned so much in our short time with Mori and would recommend him to anyone within his touring area! When we go back we will be looking him up again. Thank you Mori-san!
Thank you for joining me on my tour. I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
Morry was such a fantastic guide! He met us at our train, gave us a very informative tour of Fukuoka's shrines, temples and historic sights, a great powerpoint presentation about sumo (which we were in town to see), brought us to a great lunch spot (at which he organized a vegetarian lunch for me and sushi for my daughter) and a cool local craft store and then accompanied us to the sumo grand championship. Morry is extremely well-informed, upbeat and energetic, professional, organized and thoughtful and REALLY went the extra mile to make it a fantastic day for us. When he heard I had broken my foot and was having trouble sightseeing on foot, Morry brought a wheelchair to the train and pushed me all over town in it. A few days after our tour we asked him if he might be able to buy us a sumo souvenir which we had forgotten to buy he happily do so and mailed it to us in Tokyo. We have been guided by many guides over the years and Morry is our family's favorite. We hope to hire him to guide us for a longer multi-city trip in Japan in the future. Thank you so much, Morry!
Christin-san I am very happy that you enjoyed sightseeing in Fukuoka and watching sumo wrestling. And thank you for the many good reviews. I look forward to being your guide again someday.
