I had worked for the Japan's biggest travel agency JTB (Japan Tourist Bureau) for 35 years as a tour escort for Japanese.
I visited 68 countries and of course all over Japan as well. So I’m familiar with almost all of the tourist attractions in Japan.
More over I’m also a professional magician now. I’m a member magician of The Magic Castle in Hollywood in US. That's why I made a decision to become an English tour guide.
I acquired a tour guide license issued by the Japanese government with a lot of hard work in 2016 and I started this new career.
I guided 1,420 people with 17 groups totaly in 2017and 1,600 people in 1018.
Through long work for travel business, I was assigned to excursions of all over Japan, such as Sapporo, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa and others, which gave me intimate knowledge about most places in the country.
In addition, I am adept in business fields and knowledgeable about historical sites, traditional culture and modern subcultures in Japan.
Masatoshi is very sincere in making foreigners comfortable in Japan. His towards his clients are characterized by genuine service and concern for each of his client. He will never make anyone feel that he is being imposed upon by even the smallest request by a client. He gives best recommendations in the tours which can be taken considering the time allotted for a brief kyushu visit. And, he is able to recommend the best food at the least cost to suit the budget of the tourist. He is very knowledgeable in Japanese history and the world historical events influenced by japan, and the internal and international politics during those historic events. This enables one to understand with more ease. He is able to make people understand local culture and the reasons that influence Japanese behavior, as a nation and as an individual. And, most often make people accept small practices that describe well the social significance of each. And the best part? He also entertains us with some tricks!! Best tour ever.
Thank you for your review. I am delighted that your family enjoyed sightseeing in Fukuoka and Nagasaki. Please contact me the next time you come to Japan. I will be happy to guide you throughout Japan. Magician Morry Mastoshi
Masatoshi was waiting for us as he promised right outside the terminal. He was informative, kind, knowledgeable and funny. He is an amazing tour guide and surprisingly an amazing magician. I highly recommend him to anyone.
Thank you for your good review. I hope I can guide you someday somewhere. Please enjoy the rest of the trip. Morry
Young and old we all are amaze with magic - how did he ever do that - often thats the question we silently asked in our minds? Magic brings that innocent exitement and happiness within us. From one inquiry to the other, prompt replies, unexpected updates, showing up to the airport even if we didn't asked him to (just to make sure we will arrive to our hotel safe and sound) and so on . . . the rest is history and i couldn't ask for more. If given the chance to travel again to Fukuoka or other parts of Japan, i would still choose Morry-san. A dedicated tourist guide, a fine gentleman and a good family man. Not only did Morry-san showed us superb talent in magic but most importantly he showed us the kind of magic that came from the heart - the LOVE and PASSION in what he does making sure guests puts on their best smiles at the end of each trip and that i think is real MAGIC. With all these being said, i hope to see him again, this time in my country the Philippines. Arigato gozaimasu Morry-san. Domo Arigato Gozaimashita ?
