“A helpful and understanding guide”

Kazu is a very flexible, helpful, and understanding guide. We booked his night tour, and we messaged several times prior to the day as he sought to tailor the tour to our particular tastes. When the time came, though, I unfortunately had to cancel as after touring Japan for two weeks prior, I finally reached the point where my feet wouldn't carry me any further. When I couldn't make it, Kazu was very understanding and gave us suggestions for things near our hotel instead. Ever since I first contacted Kazu, his communication has been excellent, and he has shown a kind nature. I have no doubt the tour would have been fun, and wish we could have made it. I hope to return to Osaka and have the chance to book with him again - and this time, pace myself so I can make it! Thanks for being great about this, Kazu.

“Amazing day out in Osaka!”

Myself and my husband spent a day with Kazu exploring Osaka. Kazu was very friendly with excellent english. He developed an amazing itinerary for us both with a mix of things we both wanted to do (from historic shrines and sake tasting to anime/gaming shops and a local BBQ restaurant). I strongly recommend getting a local guide in Osaka to help prioritise and navigate around the main tourist sites but also to take you to good local places and more peaceful areas and shrines. Osaka can otherwise be a bit overwhelming with the amount of sites, restaurants, bars, shops etc. to visit! Kazu was able to show us many places we otherwise would have struggled to find. He was also very helpful and answered the many questions I had throughout the day. I would definitely have Kazu as our guide again.

“An Excellent Guide & Wonderful Evening”

As our first time to Japan and a culture as alien as can be considered as an Englishman, my partner and I agreed that we would benefit from a local guide, not just to places of interest but also about life in Japan and the Japanese culture from J-Pop, Otaku, Izakaya, Work, Life, Beer and Sake! Using the GoWithGuide website, Kazu’s profile caught our eye. We messaged him with a high-level outline of what we were looking for. Within 30 minutes we got a reply with an initial hello and welcome, which was really nice and comforting, and further information about him and what he could do for us. This combined with the information on his profile and subsequent interactive messages, confirmed Kazu would be the ideal personal guide for us and confirmed the booking through the GoWithGuide website. Over the next couple of days, Kazu remained in contact with us feeling like he was going the extra mile to make sure we had thought of everything and offering suggestions for consideration. On the day of our session, Kazu kept in contact and he met us at the hotel. From then he was super attentive, making sure we were happy, enjoying ourselves, experiencing the local culture and etiquette. The Japanese know how to provide a service and Kazu’s tailor-made service was second to none. He took us to all the places and local experiences we wanted to savour including pop culture, arcades, Izakaya Experiences, Beer, Sake and shopping. We felt he gave us a super overview and understanding of everyday life in Osaka. It was as though we were out with a friend for the evening. We can highly recommend Kazu’s personal guide service and Kazu as a professional & an individual. We are planning to come back to Osaka in 2025 and will look up Kazu to book another personal guide.
