JR Kobe Station / Duo Kobe

- Meet at the Central Gate of the station and learn a few simple Japanese phrases that you can use during the tour. The phrases will be adjusted to your Japanese level.

Shopping, Food & Real-Life Japanese Practice

Put your Japanese into practice while exploring the shopping malls around Harborland. Try shopping, eating local snacks, or ordering a meal in Japanese, with my support whenever you need it.

Kobe Waterfront & Kobe Port Tower – Sightseeing Walk

Finish the tour with a relaxing walk along Kobe’s waterfront and enjoy views of Kobe Port Tower and the harbor. If time allows, we can also go up Kobe Port Tower and enjoy the view from above.

Tour Important Information

・The standard tour duration is approximately 2 hours. If you would like to extend the tour, please contact me in advance.

・Food, drinks, shopping expenses, and admission fees are not included in the tour price.

・If time allows, we may go up Kobe Port Tower. The admission fee is not included.

・The places we visit for food and shopping may vary depending on your preferences, availability, and how crowded they are.

・Beginners are very welcome. I will adjust the Japanese practice to your level.

・Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Important message from the supplier

I have another job and I'm usually not available in the morning.

I could make time in the morning if you book my tour a month before the date or earlier.

The schedule below is my usual available time but my work schedule is different every week, so feel free to contact me if you are interested in my tours!

I need 1-1.5 hours more to go to Kyoto. If you would like a tour guide in Kyoto, an additional fee of 3,000 yen will be added to the listed price

“Lovely evening with Kazu exploring PopCulture”

Kazu was the perfect guide for my 20 year old son and me. He was able to guide us to this ething my son was interested in with ease. He even spent time in advance asking what our special interests and food were. He was very prompt, spoke very good English and had such a welcoming and pleasant demeanor. Our last stop was dinner for Japanese BBQ and he taught us how to do it and it gave us a perfect opportunity to further discuss Japan and the culture we were immersing ourselves in. we highly recommend Kazu.

“Pop culture tour of Kobe”

We booked with Kazu for an early evening tour our first night in the area. We had our young adult son with us and wanted to see what the young people like to see. Vintage clothing, records, food, etc. Kazu organized everything and selected some unique curated shops, food stalls, and finally dinner reservations for us. Kazu was well prepared, professional, and easy to be with. He has a youthful energy and we all enjoyed the tour.
