“A Wonderful Tour Guide”

I met Hitomi on 13/9/2026 at my hotel, Koko hotel at Hakata, after arriving from the Fukuoka International Airport. The first thing that struck me was her pleasantness and courteous mannerisms. This put me at ease as this is the first time I am in Fukuoka. We visited the Machiya Folk Museum, the famous Kushida Shrine, followed by a walk through Kawabata Shopping Mall and there had a fabulous and delicious meal of tonkatsu ramen at eatery recommended by Hitomi. Thereafter we walked over to Tenjin area with it's underground shopping mall filled with many restaurants. When she dropped me off at my hotel after all these visits, I was thoroughly impressed with her knowledge and history of the places we visited. I had a good first day in Hakata thanks to Hitomi.

“A very enlightening and enjoyable tour”

Hitomi gave me a splendid history of the Daizaufu Temmangu Shrine when we visited the shrine on 15/9/2026. She is very knowledgeable and takes pain to explain further whenever I had questions. This is important to me because I came to Fukuoka primary to visit this shrine. Likewise when we went the old castle ruins. She is very kind , caring and patient person. I would definitely recommend her to visitors who come to Fukuoka. She is a first rate guide. And a nice person . For first time visitor to Fukuoka like myself, she put me at ease to all the tourist spots we visited. Even recommending good places to eat.

“Fantastic Day in Fukuoka with Hitomi”

We had a fantastic private full-day tour in Fukuoka with Hitomi as our guide. She organized the day perfectly, starting with a morning train to Dazaifu to visit the Tenmangu Shrine and its small museum, followed by a lovely lunch at a local soba restaurant. In the afternoon, we enjoyed Fukuoka Tower and a relaxing walk at the seaside park. Hitomi was warm, organized, and very knowledgeable, making the day flow smoothly and enjoyable for the whole family. She explained everything clearly and adjusted plans to make the experience even better. We truly had a great day with her and would highly recommend her as a guide in Fukuoka.
