“Wonderful experience”
Due to a last minute illness, Israel filled in for Raphael. I appreciate Raphael for not canceling the tour and instead finding us a replacement guide who was wonderful This was a wonderful tour in Rio. We hit the main sites in a comfortable van with a great driver. Israel made sure we hit all the spots and take the best pictures in the most efficient way - something I couldn’t do on my own. Additionally, he kept our two young kids engaged, and kept an eye on my 80 year old mother - finding her places to sit in line, and making sure she got up all the stairs safely It was a wonderful day and was a dream to see all these sites in one day. Highly recommended!

I am a licensed tour guide in Rio by EMBRATUR, the Brazilian Institute of Tourism, and have been a private guide in Rio de Janeiro since 2013, having carried out hundreds of private tours of Rio, and have become more and more in love with my city and with my job as a Rio Tour Guide. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and have a BA in Social Communication. When I'm not guiding, I enjoy writing, reading, spirituality, hiking and studying languages (I also speak intermediate French).
