We choose Mr. Fuji based on his bio and his video. He seemed passionate about his city (Kyoto) and his English was clear and understandable. From the first minute we met it was clear that he was everything we expected and much more. His customized itinerary was perfect for us, as well as completely flexible as we made changes throughout the day. At his suggestion, we had the opportunity to go to a very large local market that only happens once a month. It was amazing unplanned start to our tour. Mr. Fuji is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Kyoto and off the places we visited. He's has a passion about his city that comes through as he highlights the are. His English is very good and easy to understand. Mr. Fuji had my highest recommendation.

Thank you very much for having me as your guide for the Kyoto Highlights tour, “A Journey Through Timeless Beauty.” We explored three World Heritage sites—To-ji Temple, Nijo Castle, and Ryoan-ji Temple—as well as the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine. At To-ji Temple, we were fortunate to enjoy the lively Kobo-ichi market, which added a wonderful local experience to the day. We also appreciated the contrasting styles of Japanese gardens at Nijo Castle and Ryoan-ji Temple, each offering its own unique beauty. I truly enjoyed spending the day with you and valued your thoughtful questions. Your interest in Kyoto’s history—especially the balance of power between the Emperor and the Shogun, along with Japanese gardens and architecture—made our time together especially meaningful.
