Tokyo national museum. Japan's oldest museum, the Tokyo National Museum boasts an exceptional and comprehensive collection of art, artifacts and information about Japan and its cultural past.

Kasori Shell mound was designated as a "Special Historical Site" on Oct 13, 2017. This is the largest shell mound in Japan. It is said that this shell mound is older than 5000 years. There is a small museum that shows about the mound and the life of ancient Japanese people. You can walk through the part of a shell mound that is being cut. Very exiting to know about the life of ancient- over 5000years - life. Unfortunately, there's no restaurants near this site, only one bending machine available. You'd better bring your lunch and drink. On weekends, you can try to make Jomon style pottery.

Kasamori-kannon Temple. The main hall is designated as a National Important Cultural Property and is the only example of the "Shiho-Kakezukuri" architectural style in Japan. Sixty-one stilts stand atop a large rock with overhanging scaffoldings supporting the main hall. It should be a bit scary experience to go up the wooden steps on a large rock.

Unari-kun, a costumed mascot character of Narita-city. It represents "airplane" and "eel". Eel is one of the speciality food of Narita. You can see many eel restaurants in front of Narita-san Shinsho-ji Shrine.
