“Connecting to the soul of Okinawa”

We spent 2 wonderful days touring the island with Yuki. On the first day we went North to visit the Ocean Expo and Ryuku Village. Both were amazing experiences like no other. Yuki timed it perfectly so we were able to view the impressive display of marine life and get seats for the dolphin show. He did the same for us at the Ryuku Village where we saw a butterfly garden, the traditions of the village and ended with a powerful Taiko drumming performance. On the second day we went South where Yuki helped me connect to my family history at the Himeyuri war memorial and finished with a traditional Okinawan soba lunch. He took us to a perfect spot that we would never have found in our own. Yuki gave us everything we wanted during our 2 days. He even stopped at places we asked about along the way. Yuki was prompt, polite, flexible, funny, informative and helped us to connect with the Okinawan culture. Thank you Yuki for all the memories.

“A perfect day ”

Yuki picked me up in my hotel at 9 am and at the end of an amazing day we said goodbye as great friends. We took the ferry to Zamami Island, rented scooters and Yuki showed me breathtaking scenery points and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We went snorkeling as well, what an experience. Just before returning the scooters (to catch the ferry back) we went for a quick swim to cool down and when ready to head back to the scooter rental shop I noticed I lost my scooter key in the ocean! So we went back in the water… and Yuki found the key on the ocean floor! What a day. Yuki is an amazing guy, great stories, great fun, and definitely a new friend. Highly recommended! If you come to Okinawa: Yuki is the guy, a rock star - so once again, Thank you Yuki!
