About Tour Guide Yuki H.
Hi, I’m Yuki from Okinawa!
Born and raised here, I know the island not only as a destination, but as home. After spending 5 years living in Australia, I understand what international travelers look for — authenticity, connection, and comfort.
As a local guide with one year of experience, I love sharing the real Okinawa beyond the typical tourist spots. I will guide you through history, culture, food, and everyday island life while making sure your day is smooth, comfortable, and fun.
My goal is simple: not just to show you Okinawa, but to help you feel it.
I look forward to meeting you and exploring together!

“One of Our Best Okinawa Memories”
Today our little family of four went on an adventure with Mr. Yuki, just happily roaming around—and we had so much fun! This is definitely going to be one of our most treasured memories of Okinawa We highly recommend this guide! If there were only 5 stars to give, we’d honestly give him 10 Mr. Yuki was not only super punctual (we were actually late at the start because we couldn’t find his car, and he patiently came to find us instead haha), but also incredibly polite, kind, and thoughtful. We spent a lot of time taking photos, and he was more than happy to help us capture them. Whenever we were curious about anything in Okinawa, he explained everything to us so patiently. Basically, you can just turn your brain off and follow him around—that’s how easy and fun the whole experience was xD We really hope he stays healthy, safe, and that his business keeps booming! If you’re coming to Okinawa, you have to look for Yuki! Thank you, Yuki—and thank you, Okinawa! :)))

“Top-notch individual tour throughout Okinawa.”
I had an outstanding experience with Yuki during my “Okinawa Food Culture Research & Local Experience” tour. From the very beginning, Yuki proved to be exceptionally professional, punctual, and highly knowledgeable. His translations were precise and nuanced, which made a huge difference given the depth of the topics we explored. This wasn’t a standard tour, but rather an in-depth research project, and he handled it with impressive flexibility and dedication. What truly sets Yuki apart, however, is his willingness to go the extra mile. He actively helped shape the experience, suggested meaningful connections, and showed genuine curiosity and engagement throughout. His local insight opened doors that would have been difficult to access otherwise. Beyond his professionalism, Yuki is simply a great person to spend time with. Over the course of the project, he became not just a guide, but a collaborator and a friend. I can highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and deeply engaged guide in Okinawa.

My name is Tateo. I am officially registerd English tour guide and introducing about Okinawa's history, culture, and nature.I am elderly person but have gone through lots of expericences that happened during US occupation after WW2. For the example, change of monetary system(US dollar to Yen),Change of traffic regulation(driving vehicle from right to left). The reversion of Okinawa to main land Japan was biggest historical event. The US administered Okinawa for 27 years. As a result, thing were Americanized in many aspects. Historically, Okinawa was once independent nation until 1872.During Kingdum era, Okinawa actively traded with China, South Asia Countries, Korea, and Japan. In the end, our culture is quite differ much from main land Japan. For instance, architectural technique, daily customs, and culture are also unique. Okinawa is the only prefecture belong to subtropical climate zone. Even winter time, it's neither hot nor cold. People can enjoy marine sport all through the year.Canoeing, Kayaking, Diving, and Snorkeling are popular. Besides, beatiful white sand beaches and attractive coastline are abundant. Green sea water and blue sky have been lured people from all over the world. Traditional music and dance are worth seeing. Please visit Okinawa and enjoy extraordinary trip.
