“A Meaningful and Memorable Day!”

We took Harry’s “Discover Your Roots” tour, and it was one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip. I knew a little about the parts of Okinawa my great-grandparents were from, but Harry helped me uncover so much more. He did research ahead of time, contacting the community centers where they once lived and suggesting I reach out to the Okinawa Prefectural Library. Our first stop was the library, where a researcher shared fascinating records about my ancestors. Then we visited each of their hometowns— and in one, I even met relatives I didn’t know existed! Thanks to Harry’s interpreting and thoughtful guidance, I was able to have heartfelt conversations and truly connect with my family’s history. An unforgettable, deeply meaningful day!

“Wonderful taxi driver experience ”

We booked a taxi to bring us from naha to nago and to kouri island. Yamashita san was very friendly from the outset, and eager to introduce us to various places despite our language barrier. It was a wonderful experience :)
