For the example, change of monetary system(US dollar to Yen),Change of traffic regulation(driving vehicle from right to left).The reversion of Okinawa to main land Japan was biggest historical event.The US administered Okinawa for 27 years. As a result, thing were Americanized in many aspects. Historically, Okinawa was once independent nation until 1872.During Kingdum era, Okinawa actively traded with China, South Asia Countries, Korea, and Japan. In the end, our culture is quite differ much from main land Japan. For instance, architectural technique, daily customs, and culture are also unique. Okinawa is the only prefecture belong to subtropical climate zone. Even winter time, it's neither hot nor cold. People can enjoy marine sport all through the year.Canoeing, Kayaking, Diving, and Snorkeling are popular. Besides, beatiful white sand beaches and attractive coastline are abundant. “A perfect day ”
Yuki picked me up in my hotel at 9 am and at the end of an amazing day we said goodbye as great friends. We took the ferry to Zamami Island, rented scooters and Yuki showed me breathtaking scenery points and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We went snorkeling as well, what an experience. Just before returning the scooters (to catch the ferry back) we went for a quick swim to cool down and when ready to head back to the scooter rental shop I noticed I lost my scooter key in the ocean! So we went back in the water… and Yuki found the key on the ocean floor! What a day. Yuki is an amazing guy, great stories, great fun, and definitely a new friend. Highly recommended! If you come to Okinawa: Yuki is the guy, a rock star - so once again, Thank you Yuki!

“Great introduction day to Naha! ”
We had such a lovely day with Yuki. He picked us up at our hotel. His English is very good, He is very personable and friendly. We went to the Shurijo Castle, Okinawa World, went to Ichiran lunch, and finished at the Naminoue Shrine. He explained a lot about the sites we visited as well as answeri no our many random questions! He even took us to a local market and helped us pick out some snacks and treats to take home. He returned us to our hotel and, when asked for a dinner recommendation, he gave us a local restaurant and showed us the address on Google Maps. Overall, we very much n joyed our day with Yuki and would recommend him for anyone visiting Naha!!
