Meeting Point
Lawson Store at Tenbusu Naha (Kokusai Street)
- We will meet in front of the Lawson convenience store at "Tenbusu Naha" on Kokusai Street. • Address: 3-2-10 Makishi, Naha, Okinawa • Landmark: Look for the large blue "Lawson" sign next to the Tenbusu Naha building in the middle of Kokusai Street. • How to get there: About a 5-minute walk from Makishi Station (Yui Rail) or a 10-minute walk from Miebashi Station. I will be waiting for you in front of the Lawson entrance!
Local Okinawan Izakaya
At our first stop, dive straight into authentic Okinawan food culture! Order whatever catches your eye—from classic local dishes to unique local bites.
To drink, try Okinawa’s famous Orion Beer or traditional Awamori. As a local who drinks Awamori all the time, I love introducing its rich world! Awamori comes in so many varieties, each with its own distinct flavor profile, aroma, and aging process. I’ll help you find the perfect one to match your taste!
Deep Naha: Secret Backstreet Izakaya Behind Makishi Market
Step into the maze of narrow backstreets behind Makishi Market, packed with charming, rustic izakayas!
This is where true locals gather to unwind. We’ll grab a seat at a deep local izakaya, toast together, and enjoy the lively atmosphere. It’s a wonderful opportunity to interact with friendly locals, share smiles, and experience authentic Okinawan hospitality firsthand!
Cozy Bar with Karaoke or Live Okinawan Music
For our final stop, the choice is yours! Depending on your mood and vibe, we can head to a fun local bar for drinks and karaoke, or visit a spot with lively Okinawan music.
Whether you want to sing your heart out, relax to local tunes, or just toast one last time with new friends, we'll wrap up an unforgettable night in Naha together!

“WWII historical sites”
We appreciated Yuki taking us to the various historical sites in Southern Okinawa and sharing his personal and local insights during this tragic period. The Himeyuri Peace Museum was particularly moving. Yuki brings a homegrown perspective to his tour, including local restaurants and background. His Shabu-Shabu recommendation for dinner was oishii!
