Tour Important Information
Our tour takes place in Central London which has no shortage of refreshment and relief establishments. Nonetheless, I suggest that everyone should bring water and any snacks they might need to keep them going for up to three hours, and they should wear comfortable clothes - especially shoes.
As we want to see the guard change ceremonies that are timed with military precision we need to start on time at 10.00 am in Covent Garden, or a little earlier at your Central London hotel
Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation - 8 days prior to meeting time
- 50% Refund - 3 to 7 days prior to meeting time
- No Refund - Within 2 day(s) prior to meeting time
About Tour Guide Ian F.
I am a lawyer, historian and official City of London and Westminster tour guide. Introducing guests to the splendours and secrets of my hometown is my passion. I try to make my tours a mixture of fun and fact (with some of the facts being funny and some of the fun being factual). I would love to arrange a private tour that will make your visit to London truly memorable. All of my income from tour guiding is donated to charity - currently World Jewish Relief's Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

“Highest recommendation”
Highest recommendation! Ian very kindly arranged for me to join him and a family (for whom he was guiding a full day’s London tour) for lunch at the Middle Temple. He is very charming and knowledgeable.

London's Jewish History
A journey through the streets and alleys of London to discover the 1000-year history of the Jews in England. From the arrival of a Jewish community from Normandy in 1066/67 to the Kindertransport children of 1938/39, Jews have played important roles in the unfolding drama of British history. We will visit some of the most spectacular sites in the City. We will also reveal the little-known Jewish associations of some of London's most famous landmarks. I donate all my tour proceeds to charity

Shakespeare's Virtual London
A Zoom journey to the places where William Shakespeare lived and worked in London. We will view some of the most beautiful sites in London, taking in two of Shakespeare's London homes, Stationers' Hall where the earliest printed copies of Shakespeare's works were registered, the site where kidnapped boys were forced to perform by unscrupulous playhouse managers. We will also view the reconstructed Globe Theatre where Shakespeare performed in 1602. I donate all my tour proceeds to charity.

Love, Sex and Blood. Sinful Life in Covent Garden
Covent Garden is one of the most popular and respected areas in London, but that wasn't always the case. Actors, murder, body snatching and rising from the slums to the stars are just a few intriguing twists of history explored along the way.
