Discover Buenos Aires from an anthropological point of view. Who were the first inhabitants? Where is the African-descendant population? Where did all these white people come from? Why is the city split into North (rich) and South (poor)? Was really Buenos Aires “the Paris of the South”? Was Argentina ever a world economic power? What is the deal with Evita and Perón? Who were the "desaparecidos" during the military dictatorship? And why do we have such a big problem with the US dollar?

Hola! We are Nicolás, Sofía, Iván and Ignacio. Together, we are a team of professionals in anthropology, history and archeology. With a wide experience working at national museums we are passionate about the past and we love sharing and discussing it. Be welcome to the cultural capital of South America!
“An invaluable Introduction to the history and culture of Buenos Aires and Argentina ”
Nico provided exactly what we required as first time visitors to Buenos Aires. He explained the history of Argentina by explaining the migration patterns over the past centuries, and the cultures that helped define Argentina as it is today. It is one thing to experience architecture and the cuisine, but with the detailed explanation of the rich cultural history of Argentina, we now have a more complete understanding of this beautiful city. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Buenos Aires, whether they are first time or repeat visitors.
