“ Five Stars for an Exceptional Beijing Guide”

Beijing is a truly special city. It’s not just about the famous sights and landmarks, but also the rich history, culture, traditions, and stories that bring this place of immense significance to life. Clare was the perfect guide to help us experience all of this. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a gift for explaining complex historical and cultural topics in a simple, engaging, and easy-to-understand way. We were a family of five with diverse needs—two seniors, two adults, and a teenager—and Clare was able to tailor the experience so that everyone enjoyed the tour. We made a last-minute decision to attend a Peking Opera performance, and Clare went out of her way to help us by collecting the tickets on our behalf. She was always patient and happy to answer our many questions, no matter how big or small. Beyond the sightseeing, Clare also provided excellent food recommendations that were both delicious and reasonably priced, allowing us to enjoy authentic local cuisine without breaking the bank. Seeing Beijing through Clare’s eyes made our trip so much more meaningful. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to gain a deeper appreciation of this fascinating capital city.

“Informative tour with a dynamic tour guide”

Clare was great from start to finish! My mother isn't the most mobile and Clare and our driver accommodated quite well. We also had disruptions to our tour schedule because of last minute events in Beijing, but Clare did a great job changing the agenda on the fly to optimize our time in Beijing. Overall great experience!

Spending five days in Beijing with Tony as our guide was truly one of the highlights of our trip. At sites like the Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, and Tiananmen Square, Tony continued to impress with his knowledge and ability to keep everything interesting without overwhelming us. What truly set Tony apart was his flexibility, attention to detail, and care for our experience. From great food recommendations to adjusting plans to fit our pace, everything felt personalized.
