“My Amazing Trip to Egypt ”

I have always wanted to learn about the Great Egypt and all its Ancient history. When I finally decided it was time to go, I consulted my best supporter, Miss AI, on who could be my best guide in on this journey in Egypt. Ai suggested a list of three names and on top of the list was Wael from Gowithguide. I consulted Wael and we soon hit it off, he got me even more excited because I then realized that my list was truly not exhaustive at all on great places to see. If it wasn't for him, I probably may have even missed the Great Egypt Museum. Nonetheless, on arrival at Cairo Airport, I was great with such warmth and humility that I immediately felt at home. Wael is indeed the best guide you can get in Egypt, Ai didn't lie. He had advanced knowledge on the Ancient history that I got school and went back home with even more homework. He is kind, he is patient and he loves what he does. He's got such passion for what he does that the future is truly bright for him, and those that get a chance to meet with him should consider themselves blessed. On this one, the Ancient Gods are with him. I had initially planned only 3 days of guide in my 10 day visit, but because of how much I was enjoying his guidance, I ended up on the road with him for 8 days, and the other 2 were off just because I needed rest, nothing else. He organized a trip for me to fly to Luxor outside of the original 3 days that were planned, which as luck will have it, upon arriving at the airport I realised that I had forgotten my wallet at home. Mind you he was not with me because he arranged for his colleague guide in Luxor to take me through. When I informed him via WhatsApp he told me relax, these things happen. He then arranged for funds from his own pocket to be transferred to his colleague on the other side so that I could still visit every place I wanted to visit including buying any souvenirs I may have liked. I paid him back as soon as I returned back to the hotel. Now that's an angelic Wael.

“Alexandria and Cairo Private 3 day Trip!”

We are 2 female travelers from the states and we were very nervous to come to Egypt because of the horror stories you hear. Let me reassure you, WAEL IS AMAZING! We felt so safe, he hired a private driver for each day, we were well fed with his amazing food choices (even during Ramadan), and we got to see everything on our bucket list plus more. He may change your trip’s order around a little bit as the days go on but trust that he is doing it for the best! We swapped around some activities and days because in the background of us visiting activities, Wael was texting other drivers and guides to figure out if our next stop was busy or if it was to hot to go then and we would be miserable. He is also one of the most educated people I have met. He values Egypt and its history and he blew our mind with all of his information. He spoke fluent English and would switch into Arabic to advocate for us. Not only is he a wonderful guide he is also a wonderful body guard. We felt so safe the entire time! This may be a lengthy review but I want you to understand that there isn’t a choice in guide. Your choice is only Wael! If we could do Egypt all again we would not change a thing. It was lovely and grand and we are already recommending him to our friends. To sum this this up Wael is charming, a father to his tourist, funny, educated, intelligent, charismatic, protective, fast responsive, and truly one of the best people on this planet. We have a friend in Egypt and it has changed my perspective on Egypt and how to advocate for the country in the United States. Wael, you deserve to see the world more than we do. You are a treasured soul and we will always remember you and love you. You have friends in the States and if you and your family ever need a place or want to visit, we would love to serve at no cost. You have touched our hearts and we will forever be grateful for you! Peace my friend! We will miss you!

It was such a blast showing you around Cairo – from the ancient wonders to the chaotic charm of Cairo & Alexandria streets.
