On a comfortable walk of 3 hours you will discover some of the highlights in Paris like Opera Garnier, Louvre (outside), Palais Royal, Pont Neuf and the cathedral Notre-Dame as well as hidden pearls like the garden of the king in Royal Palace, the oldest square in Paris or the first public sample of one meter. You will also learn a lot about contemporary Paris and about the best things to do. You will feel the real pulse of the City of Love and look at it with the eyes of a Parisian.

Meeting Point
The opera house Palais Garnier: we will meet at the frontside ion the stairs outside of the building. The guide will hold a yellow sign in his hands.
Place de l'Opéra
We will start our itinerary from the famous opera house built by architect Charles Garnier and walk on the steps of history to Place Vendôme with its luxury shops, to the king's gardens Tuileries, to the world's biggest museum Louvre, to the Royal Palace, the oldest Parisian bridge Pont Neuf, the oldest square Place Dauphine, the fountain of Saint-Michel. You will finally arrive to the cathedral Notre-Dame, the jewel of Gothic architecture in the French capital.
Square Viviani
We end our tour an the small park Square Viviani on the left bank of Paris, just in front of Notre-Dame-de-Paris. From here you have the most beautiful view on the Gothic building and, if you wish so, the guide can take unique pictures with you in front of the church. Before the end of the tour you will also discover the oldest tree in Paris as well as the famous bookstore Shakesperae & Co. where already famous writers like Hemingway or Fitzgerald got their books.
Ending Point
We will end the tour in a park near the cathedral Notre-Dame-de-Paris.

Tour Important Information
The walking tour covers an itinerary of about four km on a flat area. You don't need to be in any sporty shape for doing it, but we advise to wear comfortable walking shoes, to bring an umbrella and, especially in summer, a bottle of water.
The tour starts beginning with two participants.

On the days of week I am available or busy according to the seasons. During the academic year (October to May) I am teaching in university. However, in my company MSP SAS we have a dozen guides who all fulfil the guidelines of quality and expertise I put on myself and my wife Kristina with whom I manage the company. Our guides a available each day of the week.

About Tour Guide Christian G.
After a law degree in Italy and Austria, I worked as a journalist for nearly 20 years, first in Italy and from 1995 to 2014 in Paris. I started guiding in 2014 and followed a new education for my national French guiding license. With my wife Kristina, an architect and historian of art, we created a guiding agency in Paris in which by now work a dozen highly qualified and licensed guides. All of us are driven by love for art, passion for history and eagerness of showing the French beauty to our guests. We provide private and group city tours as well as visits in the main Parisian museums as for instance Louvre and Musée d'Orsay. We manage also excursions to the Palace of Versailles, to the mansion of Monet, to Normandy and so on. During the academic year, I still give lessons for journalism in the Parisian university HEIP.
