I will be happy to show you Catania at the most beautiful time of the day: in the evening! During our walk, you will enjoy the beauty of the city, with its monuments illuminated by streetlamps and its nightlife streets crowded with people. I'll show you some interesting street art works, I'll tell you about the relationship between Catania and Etna, and I will show you period photos and archive images that show the center of Catania as it once was.
Come with Mirco, the blonde guy from Milan!

San Berillo District - fascinating street art project
This is a very interesting street art project located in a very old district of the city center: San Berillo. I'll tell you its story, and why it was decided some years ago to realize a street art project.
This place is a hidden gem of the city center!
Roman Amphitheatre
We'll reach the Roman Apmhitheatre, which consists of the Roman Colosseum. I'll tell you its story and, if you are interested, you can visit it. The first thing you will notice is that this amazing monument is black, because it was built using lava stone: a unique piece in entire Europa!
Crociferi Street - the baroque road in Catania
We'll cross one of the most amazing streets in Catania: Crociferi street.
It consists of a baroque road, cause it is characterized by the presence of 5 churches, all of those built in the 18th century, after a huge earthquake which destroyed completely the city.
I'll tell you about this earthquake and how the city of Catania was rebuilt.

Ursino Castle - the fortress of Catania
We will reach one of the most amazing squares in Catania: Castle Square.
There, we will see the castle, one of the very few middle age testimonies that we can admire in Catania.
This castle is strictly connected to an eruption which damaged the city of Catania, the eruption of 1669. I'll tell you about this eruption, showing you pictures and paintings of the period.
Fish market streets
After the castle, we will cross the streets of Catania's night life. Indeed, the citizens of Catania are used to have a walk by night in the streets between Ursino Castle and Fish Market.
We will cross those streets, admiring the quantity of bars, lights, and live music that the city of Catania offers by night.
We will reach then Fish Market area, where this market takes place every morning from 8 am to 1 pm (except Sunday)

Hiking Guide and Tour Guide!
If you want to discover Etna, some natural beauties in East Sicily, or cities like Catania, Syracuse or Taormina, you can count on me.
Six years ago I gave life to a project, with the idea of shooting documentaries about each area of Sicily I visit, to document it through short videos and tell it to the viewers. Thanks to this idea, asking hospitality to the municipalities and, in return, I make a video, I have been discovering hundreds of hidden natural, urban and archeological gems.
What's the aim of my ''Gowithguide' profile? Show the travellers how much-hidden beauties we have in Sicily.
I want you to experience Sicily deeply as Sicilians do: this is my aim.
For this reason, thanks to my work of documentaries around Sicily (subtitled in English and many other languages) I am also known as “the popularizer of Sicilianity”!
See you soon in Sicily!
