I received a license in 2016 from the Korea Tourism Organization as a qualified professional tour guide. I have guided a variety of tours for people and tourists from all over the world and have been doing so for over 9 years. Before being a tour guide I spent most of my career working in the banking industry for almost 30 years, starting with Korea First Bank which later became a US based Newbridge Capital and UK based Standard Chartered Bank until I retired in 2016. My experience in the banking industry was very much customer-first and dealing with the public which laid the cornerstone and passion to becoming a tour guide. After retiring from the bank, I worked as a lecturer for a volunteering organization run by the local public office and taught students about the environment and disabilities. With various experiences and personal management skills, these challenges have provided a real life, hands on cultural nuances which will promote friendship and expand life experiences between different cultures. “Kevin is the best! Ask for him!”
Kevin kicked us up at our hotel around 8 for a full day DMZ tour for six of us. He is a wonderful driver (can fit in any size space), and very knowledgeable about everything. He was so accommodating and honored all of our requests. He’s also a great picture taker. He was on time and knew the answer to every question. He’s the man! On the way home, my husband’s foot was bothering him and Kevin called up the urgent care near our hotel and dropped him off. At an orthopedic urgent care, which we never would have known to do. That was so helpful! I would highly recommend him!!!

“Excellent Guide”
Thoroughly enjoyed my day trip, guided by Hayoung. We explored the older streets and also unique local areas that I wouldn’t be able to easily navigate to by myself. I felt I saw all the places I wanted to see and went at my own pace. It felt like an authentic and memorable experience. Hayoung is an excellent guide who filled in tidbits of information along the way and also considered my desires and needs. Can’t go wrong. Book her.

“DMZ & Suspension Bridge”
We had a fantastic tour of the DMZ and suspension bridge. Kevin was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and made the entire experience enjoyable and informative.
