The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel

The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel was secretly dug by North Korea and discovered in 1978. It’s only 52 kilometers from Seoul and could have allowed thousands of soldiers to pass through in an hour. Today, visitors can go down into the tunnel to see firsthand the tense history between the two Koreas. The narrow passage and thick concrete barricades give a chilling glimpse into past conflicts. Dora Observatory

Dora Observatory sits on a hill near the DMZ, offering a clear view across the border into North Korea. On a clear day, you can spot North Korean villages, guard posts, and even the famous flagpoles.
