The main palace out of 5 palaces in Seoul. It was built in 1395 and destroyed by war and restored. There are a lot of historical stories embedded in this palace. You can also see the changing of the guard ceremony.
Buckchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, dating back to the Joseon dynasty. The location of this village is in between two royal palaces, so you may think how luxurious the village is. it was luxurious but not now. now there are many small traditional houses there. they are frugal but not shabby. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, studios of craft, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses; You may have opportunity to experience and learn traditional Korean culture.
Insa-dong, located in the heart of the city, is an important area where old but precious traditional goods are on display. There is one main road in Insa-dong with alleys on each side. Within these alleys you will see galleries, traditional restaurants, tea houses, and cafes.
Namsan Seoul Tower and Cable Car
N-Seoul Tower (Namsan Seoul Tower) is a landmark of Seoul and a must-visit tourist attraction for visitors to Seoul. N-Seoul Tower was the first tower type tourism spot in Korea. The tower was first established as a broadcast tower to send out TV and radio signals in 1969. As of now, it has become one of the representative landmarks and multi-cultural venues in Seoul.
Another highlight of the tower is the Namsan Cable Car. The cable car began its operation in 1962, transferring passengers from the foot of the mountain to the base of the tower.
Gwangjang Market was the first permanent market in Korea and continues to thrive as a popular tourist destination today. This market was the place to trade Korean traditional clothing as like hanbok and also the hot spot to vantage lovers. Now it is one of the biggest street food market. You can enjoy various kinds of food in one area.
