Meeting
In our Chichen Itza Tour, meet your guide at your accommodation in Cancun or Riviera Maya and head to the Archaeological Zone.
Riviera Maya
The Archaeological Zone, one of the most famous and well-preserved of the Maya sites in Yucatan. Once there, see all the main attractions and get some engaging insights into one of the greatest cities of this pre-Columbian civilization.
Yucatan
Afterward, go for a swim in a nearby Cenote Ik Kil. Measuring 40 meters deep and 60 meters in diameter, it’s arguably one of the most beautiful cenotes in Mexico. The waters of Ik Kil were considered sacred by the Mayans who performed here rituals to their rain god. For instance, evidence of this fact is bones and jewelry found in its deep waters by archaeologists and speleologists.

By exploring Tulum, we'll be actually covering what would become the last chapter of the fascinating 4000 year history of the Maya civilization! In addition to this, close to the Cobá area, there's a beautiful Cenote that we'll pass by before returning to your accommodation. Cenotes are naturally formed wells, which occur when porous limestone bedrock collapsed beneath the earth's surface hundreds of years ago.
