About Tour Guide Rafael G.
I've been guiding family and friends in Mexico for over 30 years, arranging tours, van rentals, accomodation, excursions, archaeological visits, museums, etc., Now I completed my official general guide course in order to be certified by the government to guide national & international guests. I love my country, its culture, history, etc. and know a lot of interesting facts besides the normal guidance for tourists. I've travelled extensively across the country and love to share my knowledge because it's like rediscovering everythin again!

“The highlight of our 10 day trip to Mexico City”
My husband and I arranged to have Rafael take us on a guided tour of Teotihuacan. He picked us up at our airbnb at 7 am so that we could be at the site when it opened. Rafael was incredibly knowledgeable and as we drove to the pyramids he gave us so much interesting background information not only about Teotihuacan but also about Mexican history and culture. We had visited the Museum of Anthropology the day before this tour which was helpful, however, the way in which Rafael guided us through the site, the incredible information he provided, and the insights he offered to the various and multiple aspects of Teotihuacan provided for a much deeper understanding of the historical and cultural context. I would highly recommend Rafael as a guide. His depth of knowledge and his excellent communication skills allowed us to have an immersive experience of seeing Teotihuacan that will go on our top life experiences. In addition to being knowledgeable, Rafael is just a great person. He is generous with his knowledge and time, and helped us with plans for a couple of days after the tour. He is enthusiastic, warm and funny. I would give him 5/5. Thank you Rafael for this experience.

“Wonderful experience with truly fantastic guide!”
We spent the day with Rafael for a visit to Teotihuacan -- 4 adults and 4 teenagers/pre-teens. We had an amazing experience and cannot say enough good things about Rafael. He was knowledgeable, communicative, responsive and just a delightful person to spent a day with. He engaged our kids with his interesting stores and he had so much enthusiasm for what he does, it was infectious. Do not hesitate to book him!

“Best Guide EVER!!!”
My girlfriend and I recently went on a trip to Mexico City for our anniversary, and one of the most suggested activities we were recommended was a trip to Teotihuacan. We decided it would be best to do a private tour so we weren’t just cattle on a bus like many of the groups we saw. After some research, I came across Rafael’s information and decided to book with him. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and passionate about history, he was the kindest and most engaging tour guide I’ve ever had. Our tour always a few hours long, and he showed us things that most people seem to skip when visiting the “Sacred Mountains.” Our tour was several hours long, was incredibly safe, beautifully thorough, and at the end we had a delicious and authentic meal that wrapped it all up. I wish we could have had him as a guide for every one of the wonderful things we did while in Mexico. 10/10 stars from me and my girlfriend (honestly it’s more like 20/10 stars) Rafael is the best. If you are doing a trip, I hope you are fortunate enough to experience it with Rafael. Look no further than him. Our visit to Teotihuacan was the best part of the whole trip and that is in no small part to Rafael. Not only did my girlfriend make unforgettable memories on this vacation, but I truly believe that I made a friend for life. THANK YOU AGAIN RAFAEL!
